Meet the ACEWATER student of the year, Nathaniel Bolujoko
I joined ACEWATER in January, 2020. My research area is on the monitoring of pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs) in different water sources in South-Western states in Nigeria, and synthesis of nanocomposites for mineralization of these contaminants. So far, I've been able to work on the occurrence of parabens in different water sources in Osun State.
I have a paper published in Science of the Total Environment and another recently accepted for publication.
It's been an interesting journey but with challenges too, especially with sampling exercises.
Presently, I'm working on further monitoring of these contaminants in Osun, Oyo and Lagos states. And also preparing materials for the mineralization of personal care products in water.
