Sister Sylvia Blanshard, LSP, from Nigeria, has devoted her life to serving the elderly poor with tenderness and dignity. A missionary of the Little Sisters of the Poor, she has travelled across England, France, Congo Brazzaville, Kenya, Turkey, Malta and Nigeria, spreading love through humble service.

Her journey began with a search for truth that led her to the study of medieval history and the early Church, awakening in her a lifelong commitment to Christ. Inspired by her mother’s quiet service to the elderly, she chose a path of caring for those who are forgotten, bringing light and comfort to their lives.

For her, spirituality is not limited to prayer alone but is expressed through everyday acts of kindness. She believes that seeing God in every face is the key to unity, peace and compassion. Her life is a radiant example of the message of One World One Family.

✅ Manage student and staff data and records.
✅ Support the school directorate with correspondence, minutes, and scheduling.
✅ Prepare internal newsletters (for staff) and external newsletters/reports (for parents, donors, and partners).
✅ Document school events and activities.

*Requirements:*
1. Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Communication, Education, ICT, or related field.

2. Strong writing and organizational skills.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and record-keeping.

4. Integrity, attention to detail, and alignment with TELA’s values.

Today, 22nd September 2025, school reopened for 2025/2026 academic session, and the joy was written all over our students’ faces! 😄🎒

From cheerful reunions to warm classroom welcomes, the energy across TELA was inspiring. Learners returned ready to grow, explore, and make the most of the new term.

To make the first day even more meaningful, students also participated in an engaging career-building workshop! 💼🌟
The session encouraged them to start thinking about their future goals, explore different career paths, and dream big — because it’s never too early to imagine the possibilities.

A big thank you to our dedicated teachers, facilitators, and staff who made the day such a success. The journey ahead looks bright, and we’re excited for what this term holds!
