Yetim Damaturu Old Students' Association

Delegates from Yetim Damaturu Old Students' Association (YEDOSA) paid a courtesy visit to Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC) Mamudo, where they met with the management of the College.

The Director of the College gladly received them and delivered a speech to them on the importance of catering for the welfares of orphans and the less privileged, where he urged them to always do things for the sake of Allah, and only expect rewards from Him (Allah).

However, the president of the Association, Comrade Abba Ali Modu, in his remark extended the heartfelt appreciation of the association to the College over the tremendous supports they have been receiving, and also called for the continuation of the concerns they often show towards the affairs of orphans and the less privileged.

May Allah continue protect this association in all its endeavours. Ameen!!!

Alhamdulillah, the process to make YEDOSA a standard, independent and a well known association is taking shape. This is evident in some courtesy, advocacy and appointment letter disbursement visits that were being paid by our vibrant and gigantic members. The visits include;

1. Advocacy visit to our number father, in person of Gambo Garba Muhammad. During this visit, the members were oriented on how to properly run the affairs of the association, and maintain its rhymes beyond expectations.

2. Visit to the Headmistress of Yobe Children's Academy Primary School (Mrs. Hauwa Ahmad Amshi), where many areas to be strengthen were discussed. Mrs. Hauwa gave a green light to serve as the patron of this great association, and hence assured the members that whenever there is an issue which requires her attention, the doors to her office and house will always remain opened for them.

3. Visit to the Head of Department, Department of Public Administration of Yobe State University Damaturu. Our mummy received the members of YEDOSA with opened and warmed hands. She also showed her gratitude for seeing this development, and also for recognizing her as one of those whom will sincerely contribute in kind towards the positive journey of the association.

Finally, we thank all those who supported us in any kind of assistance. We pray to Allah to guide, protect and grant them their heart desires both in this world and in the hereafter. Ameen.
