How I Discovered Affiliate Marketing And Why I Didnât Quit Even When Results Were Slow
Let me take you back to how my online journey really startedâŠ
Truth is, I wasnât always âgoodâ at internet marketing or making money online. Far from it.
During my NYSC in 2019, I was honestly one of the lucky ones.
I had a job.
Life was soft.
No heavy responsibilities.
If I wanted something, I bought it.
Going broke was almost impossible.
Salary this weekâŠ
Allawee the next week.

I was even buying full roasted chicken just to enjoy life đ
But then⊠NYSC ended.
And just like that, allawee stopped coming. đ
That was when reality hit hard.
At first, I managed.
But over time, it wasnât enough.
My 9â5 salary could no longer cover my needs.
I started going broke.
And that feeling? Itâs not funny.
That was when I began seeing posts of people making money online.
Naturally, I became curious.
âI need something online,â I told myself.
Sadly, what I found first were Ponzi schemes.
And yes⊠I lost money. A lot of it.

After those losses, I had a serious conversation with myself:
âKai Al-bashir, this is not the way to grow.â
I quit Ponzi for good.
Later on, I discovered Forex trading.
That was my real entry into the online world.
Through Forex, I didnât just learn about money â
I met amazing people.
I expanded my mindset.
I started seeing the real potential of the internet.
That exposure opened my eyes to many online opportunities.
I began learning valuable skills like:

đȘĄ Copywriting
đȘĄ Web development
đȘĄ Sales & marketing
Was I perfect? No.
Am I still learning? Yes.
But I didnât stop.
That journey eventually led me to affiliate marketing â
a model that made sense, didnât require capital-heavy setups, and could be done with just a smartphone and data.
Results were slow at first.
Very slow.
But I didnât quit â because I finally understood that real online income is built, not rushed.
Today, Iâve built an online business thatâs growing.
And more importantly, I now help people like me â students, NYSC members, workers, unemployed youth â start their own online journey with what they already have.
