*HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IRONING YOUR CLOTHES, HEARD THAT “TSHHHH!” SOUND AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED PRAYING?” 😭😂🔥*

Well... Come closer🤗🤗

During one of our *Prevocational Studies* lessons, we explored *Care of Clothing*, and we started with something surprisingly easy to overlook: *the little care label sewn into our clothes.*🏷️👕👖

You know that tiny piece of fabric with all those strange little symbols?🤷🏻‍♀️

Turns out, it has quite a lot to say. 😂🫰🏻

Our Bloomers learnt that those symbols are instructions for caring for a garment properly. They can tell us whether something should be *washed, hand-washed, dried in a particular way, ironed at a certain temperature, bleached or even dry-cleaned.*🧺👗

And we didn't just look at the symbols and memorise their meanings, we talked about *why they matter.*

Because that favourite outfit you've had forever? The school uniform you need to keep looking neat? The nice shirt you definitely don't want to change its original colour? 😂

They all need the right kind of care.😅✨

It was one of those lessons where you realise that something as simple as reading a label can save you from a very unnecessary clothing tragedy. 😭

And that's one of the things we love about learning at *Blooms ’n Daisies*. We want our Bloomers to leave the classroom with knowledge they can actually use in their everyday lives, not just answers they can reproduce on a test. 💙💛

Because sometimes, *real learning is knowing what to do when the iron starts making that suspicious sound.*😂

Now, this is a safe space... how many of you can confidently explain those little symbols on a care label without secretly Googling them? 👀😂

THERE ARE SOME MILESTONES THAT MEAN A LITTLE MORE TO A PARENT. 🥹💙💛

For Kimberly's mum, one of those was seeing her daughter become able to do her homework independently.💪🏻🥹

It may sound like a small thing...

But if you've ever watched your child struggle with something they should be able to do on their own, you know how much that little sentence can mean: “Mummy, I can do it myself.”🤗

Over time, Kimberly grew in confidence. She became more independent with her work, and the worry that once came with homework slowly became something else: *pride* . 🌸🤗

But there was another part of her testimony that touched us deeply.

Kimberly has graduated from BnD, but her mum still considers herself part of the family. 🥹

And honestly, we don't take that lightly.☺️🫰🏻

To Kimberly's mum, thank you for trusting us then, celebrating her growth with us, and still choosing to call yourself part of the BnD family.

We're grateful to have been part of her story. And even more grateful that the story didn't end at graduation. 🌼💙

TRUST ISN'T BUILT IN A DAY... IT'S BUILT IN EVERY LITTLE MOMENT. 💙🌸

Every parent hands over something priceless when they drop their child off at school.

Their hopes.
Their dreams.
Their greatest treasure.

That kind of trust isn't something we take lightly.🥹🫰🏻

For Jeanelle's mum, Blooms 'n Daisies School has become more than a place of learning. It's a community she trusts to nurture her child academically, socially, emotionally, and morally.😇✨

Those words mean more to us than any award ever could.

A NEW MONTH. A NEW PAGE. THE SAME COMMITMENT TO HELPING CHILDREN BLOOM. 🌼😇

August has a beautiful way of slowing life down.

School bells are quiet.
Lunch boxes are taking a little break.
Alarm clocks are finally getting some rest.😅

But while classrooms may be empty for a while, childhood certainly isn't.🤔

It's being lived in family conversations, laughter around the dining table, visits to grandparents, bedtime stories, curious questions, scraped knees, warm hugs, and memories that will last far beyond this holiday.😇🤩🤗🥳

As we welcome this new month, we're grateful for every Bloomstar, every parent who has trusted us with their greatest treasure, and every member of our school community who makes Blooms 'n Daisies feel like home.🤗🥹💙

We know the holiday may be here, but beautiful journeys never really pause... they simply prepare for their next chapter, and we can't wait to write the next one with our Bloomstars, and with every family that will soon become part of our story.🤗😇💙💛

After all, every Bloomstar's story begins with a single step through our gates.

EVERY MEDAL HAS A STORY... OURS BEGAN WITH A LITTLE GIRL WHO ONCE THOUGHT SHE WASN'T GOOD AT MATHEMATICS. 🧮💙

There was once a little girl who dreaded Mathematics.🫩🥱

Every lesson felt like a battle. Every test came with anxiety. Even passing the subject in her WAEC examinations didn't come easily.🥲
For a long time, she believed Mathematics simply wasn't "her thing."
But as she grew older, she made herself a promise.🫱🏼‍🫲🏼

"If I ever have the opportunity to shape young minds, no child under my care will grow up believing they cannot succeed in Mathematics."

Years later, that little girl became Mrs. Evelyn Ekarika, the Head of School at Blooms 'n Daisies School.

At BnD, Mathematics is never approached with fear. It is explored with curiosity, taught with patience, and strengthened through opportunities that challenge our learners to dream bigger than the classroom.➗🧾

That is why we proudly encourage our Bloomers to participate in competitions like the Math Olympiad. Not simply to win medals, but to discover confidence they may never have known they possessed.

Today, we're proud to celebrate what that vision has produced.

Out of over 500 pupils who participated across Cross River State, BnDSchool recorded the highest number of medalists, with other Bloomers also earning Certificates of Merit for their performance. 🏅✨

Behind every medal is a child who chose to try, a family that chose to believe and behind this achievement is a school that refuses to let fear have the final say.😇

A heartfelt appreciation goes to our exceptional Mathematics teacher, Mr. Victor Ekanem, whose passion, patience, and unwavering commitment continue to show our Bloomers that Mathematics isn't just about getting the right answers. It's about learning to think, persevere, and believe in yourself.

To our wonderful parents, thank you for trusting the process and encouraging your children to embrace every opportunity to grow.😁🤗

And to our Bloomstars...

Never let fear decide what you're capable of because sometimes, the subject that once scares you the most becomes the very place where your confidence begins.🫰🏻☺️
