Most people are intrigued with quotes. We enjoy them because someone cared to reduce the word count, so they're a quick study and take only few seconds. And usually someone cared enough to write them in such a way that is clever, humorous, or in - your - face... in a good way. The combination of brevity and impact also makes quote retainable. But quotes and sayings are meaningless unless they engage the reader and move them to action. In reading any quote, the value isn't in the feeling you get, the cleverness of the words, or who said it, although that adds to the emotional factor. The real value of a quote that touches you is spending additional moments to see how it can apply to your life and to those in it, and to see how the creative thoughts will manifest out of your thoughts into real life. The goal of any quote strong enough to take up some memory space in our minds is to make it become real and deliver it into the world so it can touch the lives of those around us. There is always something or someone who will benefit if you take the principle that MOVED you and put in play so it moves others. In fact, anyone who ever wrote a quote (dead or alive) wished or wishes only one thing - that the words which were so carefully written would enter the heart and mind of the reader and move them to adjust, impact, transform, grow, lead, change, or improve. So remember, a quote in HEED is a quote in DEED.

If you become a person who is deeply committed to a particular thing, the world won't understand you; you will be alone. Remember: It's human to stand with the crowd, but it's divine to stand alone.

The only thing that matters is that you choose what makes you happy and relaxed.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.

Every stage of life presents lessons to be learned. We can choose to be teachable and continue to learn them, or we can be close-minded and stop growing. The decision is ours.

Living in the past and learning from the past aren't the same thing, they affect your future much differently. Do not spend your life in a dream that you can't awake.

The loudest and most influential voice you hear is your own inner voice, your "self-critic." It can work for you or against you, depending on the message you allow. It can be pessimistic or optimistic. It can wear you down or cheer you on.

Who do you surround yourself with, criticizers or encouragers? Surround yourself with those who believe in you, your life is too important for anything less.

Be the guide to your own guidelines. Think your own thoughts, don't let anyone do it for YOU.
