RECONCILIATION – Our administration will seek to reconcile the various ethnic groups and nationalities within cross river state which have been divided for different reasons such as:

Land were communities even wage wars killing one another.

Political wars through persecution, discrimination in appointments sacrificing merit on the altar of partisanship. Where our traditional institutions have been desecrated for political opinion or positioning.

Reconciling, the multiple tax regime in the state with firm policies that are sustainable and growth oriented.

Reconciling the various programme of previous administrations, which have remained very disjointed and incoherent, with so much money in debt.

Reconciling the various duplications in the system to fuse into a functional and effective one.

Lighting up our city centers and bringing back the night economy.

Reconciling the transport systems and reducing the cost of transportation through a realistic “rural to urban transportation network.

Revisiting Bakassi and the various agreements, it shall no longer be discussed or handled in secret. A Bakassi and other displaced peoples commission shall be established.

Maritime activities along the Cross River axis including the functionality of Port operations as it affects import and exports will be given priorities.

We shall reconcile our various highway/road projects including the famous super highway

We shall also reconcile our housing deficits in the state.

Whilst our spirits are high, let us not forget 2023 is a year we will decide our fate as a Nation and as citizens of Cross River State.

While every other gubernatorial candidate have shelved up the issue of Bakassi, refusing to discuss it, listen to what I will do differently.

I will unveil my Manifesto in an explained format.

Now that the Chief Press secretary to the Governor of Cross River State Christian Ita has confirmed that the state government has been steadily collecting #500 million naira as stabilization funds for Bakassi since 2008, which the government has never owned up to. But a good number of us know the the truth, the governorship candidates of the PDP and APC in Cross River State are very much aware of this money which their partymen have been using privately under the radar for over 14 years, to come clean and tell the world what they would do differently. Enough of sloganeering "Back to South" we cannot be accomplices to crimes we knew nothing about all in the name of ethnic , tribal or political solidarity. The people must remain the focus of any meaningful intervention. The lies and deceit are just too primitive for a civilized people. Happy Sunday .

In Cross River State politics I am not a stranger as most people of this generation believe or think, neither do I come with titles, I come because I am ME! I come because I represent the difference in service, selflessness, commitment, capacity, proactive disposition, youth development, the Arts, creativity, the solution, social justice for all and a contract to do and deliver in the peoples interest.

I am me because I represented Cross River State as a Hockey player at the 3rd national sports festival in Kaduna in 1977 as a student of Saint Patrick's College Calabar, same year I was Cross River State Basketball captain to the first national schools sports in Lagos. In 1978, I was Cross River State 400 metres low hurdles champion and represented the state at the 2nd national schools sports in Calabar.

I am me because I sponsored Cross River State challenge cup in 1994, Hon Essien Ayi was FA chairman, Ntufam Maurice Effiwat my Basketball teammate was Sports Director, Koko Ayi was was the sculptor that produced the logo, you can verify.

I am me because, I was mentored politically by Chief Matthew Mbu, Effiong Ononokpono, Chief Robert Assim Ita, Dr Peter Ogban all of blessed memory and a few others like John Bissong and PJ Ekunke when they formed the Cross River foundation, before the creation of Akwa Ibom state, I was the secretary.

I am me because as a member of the Cross River State sports commission in 2002, I was the only member that did not draw any allowances, Mrs Iwang was Director, while Chief Wilfred Eko was chairman, you can verify.

I am me because I personally influenced the appointment of late Ntiero Effiom and Adat Egan as national team coaches.

I am me because I am the pioneer president of the sports editors guild of Nigeria. And used my position for the development of sports in Nigeria and Cross River State, founding the Canaan sports concept and Academy, bringing Rothmans football to Cross River State , employing Cross River State indigenes into various media organisations across the country.

I am me because I initiated Efik professionals long before the "Back to South" ideas. I also initiated the Conference of Cross River State professionals, and led the protest that stopped the sale of the Cross River State liaison office in Ikoyi, Lagos and organized a summit for the emancipation of Cross River State citizens in 2014 at Transcorp hotel calabar.

I am me because as chairman Ghetto music, i initiated South Eastern Gold, cultural and contemporary musical festival in 1991 where we promoted our artistes, like Demmy Bassey, Eme Ballantyne ,Etubom Rex William etc alongside Chief Eteta Ita, Rtd Justice Charles Archibong was our patron, you can verify.

The first ever colours of Cross River State art exhibition as well as promoting the Calabar Sports Club as the pioneer social club in Nigeria having been founded in 1898 as the European club.

I am me because I have always contributed to the development of our people from my pocket and position as a private citizen of Cross River State. All empowerments have been from personal resources not government either state or federal nor through any government appointment.

I am me because I come from Bakassi, a land ravaged by vision less leadership and conspiracy.

I am me because I can be trusted to deliver the positives of modern day democracy. I know where the shoe pinches.

This is the Cross River State library, located in Calabar the state capital. The building is next to the UJ Esuene stadium. This is a testimony of how not to manage Education by two professors that transited from PDP to APC, two very powerful political parties that are laying claim to continue to lead in Cross River State. I urge the good people of our dear great state to reject both parties at the polls. Yes they are sharing the same money they could not use to fix infrastructure. Collect the money for it belongs to you. Reject both APC and PDP.

Vote wisely vote ADC,
vote Effiong Nyong , the credible alternative, I have a social contract.

This Library will be restored in six months. My word my bond.

Cross River State under Gov Prof Ayade:
2016 budget: Deep vision
2017 budget: Infinite transposition
2018 budget: Kinetic crystallization
2019 budget: Quabalistic densification
2020 budget: Olimpotic meristemasis
2021 budget: Blush and bliss
2022 budget: Quantum Ifinitum

This has been our lot in Cross River State for over seven years, witnessing an era of decline, mediocrity, lip service, destruction of life, values, education, sports ,tourism culture.

Our economy is at its lowest, multiple taxation, night life and entertainment is fast shutting down 9pm is looking like 1am. Yet some persons are reveling in the midst of this misadventure. We have a chance to salvage ourselves and the future of our children (the next generation). The starting point is to vote the individuals you can trust , the candidates that is not forced on the people, the candidate that isn't afraid to be asked questions. The candidate that will be bold to right the wrongs of this administration. We have to take back Cross River State. Obudu cattle ranch must work, our international conference center must host conferences, Tinapa has to be linked to our super high way, the Calabar port must receive imports as well as export goods. The people of Bakassi must heave a sigh of relief. The pain must come to an end. We must encourage ourselves to stop celebrating failure, high drama, budget titles and retrogression !

Vote Effiong Nyong , Vote ADC, let's sign a social contract with timelines. !!!
