But what happens when our education systems measure only a fraction of what a child can become?
As artificial intelligence reshapes how we learn, work, and create, Africa stands at a defining moment.
We must ask difficult questions.
Are we preparing learners for the future or for a world that is already disappearing?
Are our schools developing thinkers, creators, problem-solvers, and innovators or simply preparing students to pass examinations?
What happens to the child whose greatest ability cannot be captured by a grade?
And perhaps the most important question:
What would education look like if we designed it to discover and develop the potential in every learner?
This is the conversation we are bringing to the table.
The LENS Education Dialogue is a multi-stakeholder conversation bringing together policymakers, education leaders, investors, teachers, school administrators, innovators, researchers, and young people to rethink what education must become for Africa to thrive.
We are bringing together the people who shape policy, fund systems, teach in classrooms, build solutions, and experience education firsthand.

Because the future of Africa depends not only on how many children we educate but on how well we help every child discover what they are capable of becoming.
