Today, I saw a cute little boy, about 3 years old. He was clearly stubborn, and his mother was laughing at his behavior. When he slapped an adult seated next to him without any reason, I felt compelled to step in. I gently approached and said, "No! No! That's not good."

The mother looked up, surprised, and I anticipated her response: "He is just a child."

"Really?" I whispered in her ear, "Please ma'am, it's important to make hay while the sun shines. Your child is being rude. It's crucial to:

Set boundaries.
Model good behavior too."
Later, she approached me to say thank you. She explained, "He is my first; I thought he was just being smart and playful."

"It's okay," I reassured her, "but there's a limit to everything."

I love kids, but I can't watch them misbehaving. As a teacher, I believe in guiding them to grow into respectful individuals. 🌹❤️
