RAYYANU MUSA FANA; an indigene of DANDI Local Government area of Kebbi state was born on 24th of August,1994. Enrolled to High Standard Nursery and Primary School Birnin Kebbi, from 2004 - 2009, where he obtained his Primary Leaving Certificate.

Fana proceeded his educational career at prestigious alma mater(Nagari College Birnin Kebbi) where he obtained his SSCE Certificate. During his stay in Secondary School, he is popularly known for the title DAN TURAI, but his team called him RAYAH(first letters subtracted from his team first names) as a leader of the team. RAYYANU held the following offices; Deputy Head Boy Junior Section, The General Prefect Senior Section, The first Kitchen Commander Senior Section, Secretary Birnin Kebbi Students Association, The Pioneer President Literary and Debating Club, a Member Muslim Students Society of Nigeria and many others.

The young Samaritan also represent the school in quizzes, debate, seminar, conferences and other competitions both within the State and at National level. Part of which involved FRSC Zonal Seminar held in Birnin Kebbi WUFPOLY, NNPC Essay and Quiz Competitions, SEC Annual Competitions, MSSN annual Competitions and others. Rayyanu is an exception, the first to teach and guide more than fifty (50) students debaters, taught few on essay writing, more than 10 impromptu speech speakers, and a philanthropist to all quiz competitors within his stay.

RAYYANU is a graduate from the one of the most growing university in Nigeria FEDERAL UNIVERSITY BIRNIN KEBBI(FUBK), where he studied INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY.

In the University RAYYANU engaged himself not only in curricular activities but extra curricular activities. He served in club and associations in the University, offices held include the Secretary to Nigeria Students Chemical Society, Auditor General Argungu Emirate Students Association and Vice President II Dandi Local Government Students Association.

Unscheduled school visit: Gov. Idris decries poor teachers' attendance.

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu on Tuesday paid an unscheduled visit to some schools in Birnin Kebbi in an attempt to see things for himself.

The governor, who visited Government Girls Unity College, Birni Kebbi, expressed dissatisfaction with what he saw at the school.

He lamented the level of attandance of both the teachers and students in the school and urged the teachers to work hard towards taking the college to greater heights.

The governor donated Two Million Naira (N2m) to the teachers of the school.

Gov. Idris, who promised to improve the walfare of teachers, also assured the readiness of his administration to construct and re-construct some structure at the school.

The governor also paid a similar visit to Nagari College in Birnin Kebbi where he expressed satisfaction with what he saw and donated Two Million Naira (N2m) to teachers and two cows with 20 bags of rice to the students.
