International Anti-corruption day is marked yearly on the 9th Of December. The goal on this day is to promote a corruption-free society and create awareness about corruption and the countermeasures that can be done.
The Ethics And Anti-Corruption Law Clinic is primarily interested in promoting the importance of ethics and ethical living as well as creating awareness on Corruption and ways of combating it.
Corruption affects everyone and every country, no one is immune to this crime. We vow to not participate in any kind of corruption and continue to create awareness on Anti-corruption and ways we can combat it.

On 22nd November, 2022, the students of Group N under the Pre-trial Detention Law Clinic went on a visit to the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Gudu.
The purpose of this visit was to hear the proceedings of one of the cases currently being worked on in the group by the pro bono lawyers.
Unfortunately, the court did not sit, as the Judge was on an official assignment.
However, the students were elated to learn about some things relating to court proceedings, specifically criminal litigation. They testified that it was an eye opening and educative experience.

The Social Justice and Public Interest Law Clinic joined with student law clinics around the world to stand together to raise awareness about the issues affecting climate justice in the world today. The theme of this year's Global Day of Action is Fast Fashion and we asked a few social justice clinicians about their opinion on the effects of fast fashion on the environment and climate justice.

On November 10th, 2022, the Migration and Trafficked Persons Law Clinic held its first ever sensitization scheme. This scheme was carried out by a team of volunteer student clinicians.

The mission of this team is to sensitize the Government secondary school students on the dangers of Human Trafficking.

The volunteers were; Chibueze, Fareeda Bashir, Roosevelt, Precious, and Chinenye Maryann Okafor. The clinicians were trained to become tutors by the clinic supervisor through several sessions on teaching methodology and drafting of lesson plan.

Appreciation will also be made to the clinic representative, Niimatullah Abdulmumin and the Assistant Representative, Chinenye Maryann Okafor for ensuring the smooth running of the program through adequate preparations.

The clinic appreciates the support from the Principal of the school, Mrs. Akerele.

On the 28th of October, 2022, the Baze ADR Law Clinic paid a visit to the Uwais Dispute Resolution Center located in the heart of Gudu (formerly known as Abuja Multi Door Court House).
The clinicians were elated to learn about the inner workings of the Multi Door Court House . It was a truly an insightful and informative experience.
We are extremely grateful for the warm welcome and hospitality proffered by the Dispute Resolution Center.
We learnt that the use of ADR is cost effective in the long run and although you don’t have to be a lawyer to practice ADR , having a law degree helps your career as an ADR practitioner.
