on the 25th of June we celebrated International Day of Women in Engineering. Students did an Arduino Smart Crane Engineering Challenge
Participants were divided into teams and challenged to program, assemble, test, and optimize a smart crane using an Arduino, servo motors, and a 3D-printed crane model.
Each team integrated their Arduino and servo motors to control the movement of the crane, enabling it to lift, rotate, and place objects at designated locations within a specified time. Participants applied programming, engineering design, electronics, and problem-solving skills to create an efficient and reliable automated crane system.
The challenge encouraged participants to explore the integration of mechanical engineering, electronics, and programming while developing practical automation skills.
