Government Must Prioritize Youth Development.

2025 Youth Consultative Forum in Bauchi, young leaders, SUG representatives, community youth groups, CSOs, and officials from the Bauchi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development came together with one voice.
The youth of Bauchi are prepared, capable, and committed to driving development.

But readiness alone is not enough.
Government must match this readiness with purposeful investment, inclusion, and opportunities for young people.

The Youth are calling on the Bauchi State Government and policymakers at all levels to:

1. Prioritize youth development as a core governance agenda
2. Create more platforms for meaningful youth participation in decision-making
3. Invest in skills, leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship programs
4. Strengthen partnerships with youth-led organizations and CSOs
5. Ensure youth voices shape policies that affect their future

The energy, creativity, and resilience we saw at the forum prove one thing:
