THE ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BALEWA UNIVERSITY COUNCIL has approved the change of the school's name from the ATBU INTERNATIONAL SECONDARY SCHOOL as known and addressed since inception to ATBU DEMONSTRATION SECONDARY SCHOOL, FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION as a laboratory.

Sequel to the above approval, the school should henceforth be called and addressed as ATBU-DEMONSTRATION SECONDARY SCHOOL. Other changes of the school uniform, badges and other Academic procedures will start with the new intake of JSS 1 only for the coming session.
