Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi Invites applications for the 2025/2026 Admission into SHIM Full-Time Programmes

AVAILABLE COURSES:
1. National Diploma (ND) in Health Information Management
2. Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

* For National Diploma (ND):
- Five O'level credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in max two sittings).
- 2025 UTME with required cutoff point.
- JAMB subject combination: English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics.

* For Higher National Diploma (HND):
- Five O'level credits in core subjects (English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- ND in Health Information Management or Health Records Technician with at least lower credit.
- Current practicing license.
- Completion of one-year mandatory IT from accredited health institutions.
- Candidates with ND "Pass" and two years of cognate experience may be considered.

DURATION:
- Both ND and HND programmes span two academic sessions (four semesters).

APPLICATION PROCESS:
- Obtain screening PINs from the school's admission office via Remita payment.
- ND application fee: ₦5,000
- HND application fee: ₦10,000

SCREENING:
Shortlisted applicants will undergo screening tests and interviews.
