Many of the youth believe that the Salafiyyah of Abū Taymiyyah, ‘Abdur-Raḥmān Ḥasan and Da’wah Man is balanced and accuse the brothers at Maktabah Salafiyyah of being an extreme cult. So how do we distinguish between those who have become popular and those who are truly upon Salafiyyah and do not water down the manhaj?

Narrated `Abdullaah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ received a guest (at his place). He sent for his wives, seeking if they have something to eat, but none of them had anything. So he ﷺ supplicated, saying:

اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَمْلِكُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ

❝O Allaah! I beseech You for Your Bounty and Mercy, for no one owns them except You!❞

He was then presented with a lamb, so he ﷺ said: ❝This is from the Bounty of Allaah, now we await His Mercy.❞

Question: What is the ruling on using contraceptives or birth control?

Answer: It is prohibited for women to use contraception and birth control without necessity. This contradicts the objectives of the Shari`ah (Islamic law) which encourages Muslims to marry in order to guard their chastity and bear children. Moreover, anyone who practices these methods for fear of poverty has in fact no trust in Allah and His unlimited Rizq (sustenance) and Bounties. On the other hand, it is permissible for women to use contraceptives or apply birth control methods if there is a necessity. For instance, if a woman's health may be endangered by pregnancy or its reoccurrence, she will be allowed to prevent it with safe methods, such as condoms, contraceptive pills or the like to protect her health.

The bride changing her surname to her husband’s surname has become normalised by some Muslims. The issue is actually quite serious.

💠 Importance of fighting the desires to have a clean, pure, sound heart

🎓 Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
Regarding the saying of the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ: ❝The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture (image, portrait etc.).❞

I heard Shaikh al-Islaam, Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله, say: “If the Angels – who are a creation (of Allaah) – are prevented by a dog and a picture from entering the house! Then how can - the knowledge (awareness) about Allaah عز وجل, and the love for Him, and the sweetness (one tastes) through His remembrance (Dhikr), and the joy (one feels) when seeking nearness to Him - enter a heart which is filled (infested) by the dogs of desires and their likes?”

4️⃣ The denizens of the Hellfire beseeching for a second chance:

Allaah تعالى mentioned, saying:

رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَالِمُونَ ‎﴿١٠٧﴾‏ قَالَ اخْسَئُوا فِيهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ ‎﴿١٠٨﴾

{“Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Dhaalimoon: (wrongdoers).” He (Allaah) will say: “Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!”}

🎓Al-Haafidh al-Tabaree رحمه الله said:

Ma`dee Karb reported that Abu al-Dardaa’ said: The inhabitants of the Hell-Firewill be afflicted with acute hunger, according to the severity of their punishment. They will seek help, and in return they will be provided with Dharee` (ضريع, a poisonous thorny plant) which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger. When they do not benefit from this, they will call out (again) seeking help, so they will be provided with food that chokes (طَعَامًا ذَا غُصَّةٍ), when they would eat, it will get caught in their throats. So, they will remember that in the worldly life they used to drink water when it would get difficult to swallow. They will beseech for water to drink, so Hameem (boiling water) will be given to them in metal hooks. When they will bring it close to their faces, it will scald their faces, and when they would drink it, it will cut up their bowels. They will then call Maalik, the keeper of Hell-Fire, asking him to beseech Allaah to put an end to them (i.e. death). He will abandon them for a thousand years, and then he will respond, saying: “you will abide (therein) forever!” Then they will ask the (other) keepers of the Hell-Fire to beseech Allaah to lighten their punishment for at least one day. They will respond, saying: “Did not your Messengers come to you with clear signs?” They will affirm, saying” Yes!” It will be said to them: “So, beseech (all you want), but the supplication of the disbelievers will be in vain.” They will then say: “We do not fin
