Practical mathematics has been a human activity for as far back as written records exist. The research required to solve mathematical problems can take years or even centuries of sustained inquiry.

No 1 is perfect, if you think that there is all you need to do is to test an hypothesis on the person using an Analysis of Variance, be it 1way, 2way or 3way ANOVA depending on yours to run the test if actually he/she is perfect.
