**EXAMINNATION TIME**

Papers flying all around, the tensed period of school has come and students are busy cramming all the life put of the book.

That's when you know who has actually been reading since the beginning of term or those that have been saying "School na scam"

While others looking for ways to carry out malpractice.

But is it supposed to be so?

Shouldn't exams be excited, knowing that you want to pour out what you understood from all the class been taught?

Should our notes be bulky can't we pick the subject we need and throw away the rest, because a lot of what is taught of us are not needful or necessary.

I'm currently serving and teaching literature and I try as much as possible to give them the needful foundation of what Literature is all about, even if it is broad.

We have always hated exams, every Nigeria students hate it, cause it allows them to think and store up a lot of information.

But is exam really that bad, it is because we live in a world where we don't study what we want or passionate about.

I think that's where our problem lies, when we as individuals pursue what we have affinity for, we won't hate exams that much.

For instance, I love read novels, especially the science fiction and historical regency, when you give me exams based on the books I have read I would be willing to write it down knowing you are testing my knowledge.

Let me drop my pen here by saying, Examination shouldn't be that hard when we know what we are doing and why we are doing it.

Success in your examinations!!!

We chose UP YOUR GAME! for a reason.

'It's been two weeks since the third term resumed and it seems every tile I enter the classroom to teach, all I can think about is getting the kids from point A to point B. You would say that's the job description of a teacher. You're 150% correct, but it's the third term for the 2021/2022 academic session here in Nigeria. If our kids don't UP their game, then there will be trouble when it comes the time for promotion to the next class: both in school and in life.' — Teacher John Doe.

Cheers to a powerful new academic week!

While we're all preparing for the big Intelligence Workshop in June 2021, here's a quick one for the kids across Benin City.

The beauty of developing an all-round education for kids is that they not only come out with good grades but with life changing skills right from school.

Bringing you more updates with time.

EDUCATION IS NOT FOR THE CLOSE MINDED.

To be educated, you have to be open-minded.
To be educated, you have to be willing to learn.

To be educated, you have to be curious.

An open minded person is a problem solver

Education is not for the close minded, it's for people who are ready to be open to ideas and inspiration, words and so on.

You can never get tired of education, because it's an everyday occurrence.

Education open your mind to possibilities but you can't see it with a closed mind.

ADULT EDUCATION

This is the process of learning as an adult, it is different from child's education, because the assimilation of information is quite easy. But it is not impossible for adult to learn.

Adult education as the name implies, is engaging in educative activity in order to gain knowledge, skills and experience or values, character / attitude.

It's improving on oneself irrespective of the age.

In this new age, it is paramount to be educated as an adult in order to communicate well with younger generations.

It is never too late to be educated.

On my way to work this morning
I came across a young man, I think he should be between the age of 30 to 35.
I greeted and here is our conversation;
Me; Good morning sir (smiling)
The man; How are you???
Me: I am good thank you sir
The man; (frowning) he hissed.
I became curious as to why he reacted the way he did, while trying to enquire what the issue was he made a shocking statement
"Stop speaking English"😱
Now here is my question!!!!

What does my speaking English has to do with him reacting the way he did??
I was polite enough to greet!
I then remembered that people react this way when they feel intimidated or belittled with you being educated.

Most uneducated people feel downgraded when you talk to them with English
But what was I supposed to do?
Was I supposed to speak in my dialect?
And how was I supposed to know he wasn't educated to understand that I have to speak to him in a certain way!

Education gives boldness
It redefine your mindset and reorient you
Education is life
Education is knowledge and power
Struggle to ensure you are educated. For education is one thing you can never regret acquiring.
