WORLD PHARMACISTS DAY 2026: EDOCOHEST CELEBRATES PHARMACY STUDENTS, PHARMACISTS AND PRACTITIONERS

On the occasion of World Pharmacists Day 2026, the Management of the Edo State College of Health Sciences and Technology (EDOCOHEST), Benin City, warmly felicitates with all Pharmacy students, pharmacists, pharmacy practitioners and professionals within the College community.

POSTPONEMENT OF SCREENING/INTERVIEW EXERCISE

The College Management wishes to inform all prospective students that the Screening/Interview Exercise earlier scheduled to hold on *Saturday, 26th September, 2026* at the College Campus, Dumez Road, off Sapele Road, Benin City, has been *postponed*.

A new date for the exercise will be communicated in due course.

Any inconvenience this may cause is highly regretted. Applicants are advised to check the College official platforms regularly for updates.

EDOCOHEST RECORDS OVER 91% SUCCESS IN NATIONAL COMMUNITY HEALTH EXAMINATION

The Edo State College of Health Sciences and Technology (EDOCOHEST), Benin City, has recorded another remarkable academic achievement following the release of results of the recently concluded National Examination for the final year students of the School of Community Health.

The examination, conducted by the Community Health Practitioners Regulatory Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) recorded an impressive over 91 per cent success rate among EDOCOHEST candidates, with students demonstrating brilliant academic performance.

This feat is a significant milestone for the College and further underscores its growing reputation for academic excellence, quality training and the production of competent health professionals.

The Management of EDOCOHEST therefore congratulated the successful students and commended the Dean, Heads of Departments, lecturers and entire staff of the School of Community Health for their dedication, hard work and commitment to preparing the students for the national examination.

Management also acknowledged the supportive environment provided by the Edo State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, which continues to contribute to the advancement of education and healthcare training in the State.

The College Management reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening academic standards, improving teaching and learning, and providing students with the requisite knowledge and skills to excel in their chosen professions.

This achievement is being celebrated by the entire EDOCOHEST community as another important step in the College's journey towards becoming one of Nigeria's leading institutions for health sciences and technology education.
