EDO STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY, HOLDS 2025/2026 MATRICULATION CEREMONY

The Edo State College of Health Sciences and Technology, today 30th January, 2026 held its 2026 Matriculation Ceremony in a colourful and well-attended event, formally welcoming newly admitted students into the institution.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Provost, Dr. Moyo Kasim, congratulated the matriculating students and urged them to approach their academic pursuits with seriousness and dedication. He emphasized the importance of discipline, commitment to learning, and strict adherence to the rules and regulations of the College, describing these qualities as essential for success in the health sciences profession.

Other speakers at the event echoed similar sentiments, encouraging the students to uphold high moral standards, embrace hard work, and maintain professionalism throughout their training.

Dr. Kasim also commended the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his support and contributions to the growth and development of the College.

The ceremony featured academic processions, goodwill messages, and other highlights, and was attended by members of the College management, lecturers, parents, and well-wishers, adding to the fanfare that characterized the occasion.

Dignitaries present included the Honourable Commissioner for Education, represented by the Director of Higher Education; the Honourable Commissioner for Health, represented by the Director of Nursing and Midwifery; the Provost and Registrar of the Edo State College of Health Sciences and Technology; the Registrar of the Edo State College of Agriculture, Iguoriakhi; the Director of Medical Laboratory Services, Ministry of Health; and other distinguished guests.

PHARMACY TECHNICIANS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION INTO THE
EDO STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY, BENIN CITY, 26TH SEPTEMBER, 2025

The Entrance Examination for prospective Pharmacy Technicians into the Edo State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Benin City, took place today, 26th September 2025.

The examination commenced as scheduled and has been conducted in a smooth and orderly manner. Candidates arrived at the venue early, and the verification and accreditation processes were efficiently managed by the examination coordinators and support staff.

All necessary logistics, including seating arrangements, examination materials, and invigilation, were properly put in place to ensure a conducive environment for the candidates. No cases of malpractice or technical issues were reported during the examination period.

The management of the College commends the efforts of the organizing team and appreciates the cooperation of the candidates. The successful conduct of today’s examination reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to transparency, academic excellence, and professionalism.

The Provost, Dr. Moyo Kasim and all other Principal officers including the Deans were fully on ground for the exercise.

The general screening and interview for all students is scheduled for 4th October, 2025.
