In alignment with our mission to create a world where everyone is equipped with essential first aid skills, LifeSaversNG is excited to announce a collaboration with the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH). Together, we will be hosting a comprehensive Basic First Aid Training exclusively for medical doctors at the hospital.
This training is designed to reinforce foundational first aid techniques that are critical in emergency situations, empowering doctors to respond effectively and confidently. By enhancing these skills, doctors can not only improve patient outcomes in clinical settings but also serve as role models for first aid proficiency in their communities.
Stay tuned for more details in the upcoming flyer.

Today is
Myth 5: "Giving chest compressions to a victim can cause more harm than good."
If someone has a cardiac arrest, the biggest predictor of their survival is whether or not someone gives them cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before medical help arrives.
A few broken ribs can be healed. A lost life cannot.
Before you give someone CPR, watch the chest, and put your head closer to listen for breaths. If there’s no sign that the person is breathing, you should call for help or send someone to get help. Then begin CPR.
If you’re not sure the person is breathing normally, you should again proceed with CPR anyway.
