(WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST)

This statement, when put within its proper context is an innocent statement. What God cannot do, does not exist; has nothing to do with the Problem or the Presence of Evil.
The statement is a transliteration of Luke 1:37, which says 'for with God, nothing shall be impossible'.
The statement has nothing to do with the concept of God, (Yaweh) being responsible for robbery, killings, kidnapping etc as Dr. Abel Damina tried to advance. Dr. Damina took the statement too much from a literal stand point, devoid of any form of Hermeneutical and Exegetical approach to proper interpretation.
However, I am made to understand that Dr. Damina studied Theology, therefore, he ought to know better.
From a psychological point of view. I believe pastors should work more coherently and then learn to admonish and correct fellow younger pastors in love. Instead of tearing each other to pieces on social media. The schooled/educated, as well as the Theologically sound should aid the less educated in their area of weakness.

BENEFIT OF HIS BROKENNESS
Brokenness is the state of total and complete surrender of one's will, to another for the sole purpose of achieving an act that transcends time.
Today in memory is the day that our Lord Yeshua as He is called in Hebrew ( and, Jesus as translated for our English bible) gave Himself wholly and completely to Brokenness in order for the mandate of salvation to be fulfilled.
Four (4) unique events played out while he faced the capital punishment as he was crucified.

1) The sudden darkness that the Bible recorded which took place from the sixth hour to the ninth hour. This 3 hours of total darkness was a sign to announce to our world that His death has the capacitiy to wipe away every form of darkness that has overshadowed our concerns in life and destiny. I see yours being wiped away and a new dawn is breaking for you now as a result of his death and resurrection.

2) The cry, "It is finished". This ways His last words as he submitted himself to the cold hands of death. The sentence, (It is finished) was translated from the Greek text which is rendered "Tetelestoi". This was a borrowed word from Military terminology. It was the word that was used to declare total victory in a war/battle front. The Roman military general haven vanquished their opponent declares this word with a great shout and odacity of triumph, Tetelesroi, meaning, It is finished, the battle has been won, the enemy is vanquished.
Jesus using this term is to let you know that by His death, the enemies of your lives and destinies have been vanquished and total victory has been handed unto us to succeed in our quest for success in life.

3) The Temple veil that rented in twain from top to bottom.
The Temple veil according to Biblical archeology was about 40 feet wide, by about 9 feet high and 6 inches thick, and it was a single seam neated to perfection. This was what separated the most Holy place, the Holy of Holies where the Ark of the covenant and the Holy materials for liturgical worship were kept.
Only the high priest had the sanctification right to access this place during worship after carrying out the required cleansing right on himself.
This same veil rented in two, to open up access to His divine presence for every one who accept the sacrifice of Yeshua (Jesus) as the propitiation for their sin. The death of Jesus gives to us the boldness to appear before our Lord and our God to call Him Abba Father.

4) The piercing of His side with a spear to confirm his death.
In other to confirm that he was dead, a soldier took up his spear and trust it into his side. The record told us that blood and water gushed out. The first recipient that had physical contact with His blood was the same soldier who carried out the act. That encounter transformed the life of that soldier that he began to weep. Historical materials informed us that he surrendered his life to our Lord and saviour and got saved to become a practising Christian faithful. That's not all, the second recipient of the blood of our Christ was the earth that it made contact with. The contact the blood made with the earth brought about a revocation of all the curses and pronouncements that has been made over time which were not in the favour of humanity. The earth that was to yield thorns and thistles was now under divine obligation to release its hidden treasury and blessings to humanity. This is why I know, that after this celebration of Easter, you shall no longer walk in failure. Every blessing that's due you that has been swallowed up shall be vomited for you.

23 years of unstoppable fruitfulness. It has been a journey of commitment and selfless sacrifice.
We appreciate the Lord for his Providences we have enjoyed for the last 23 years. I pray and believe that we have many more years to live together as one.

Congratulations to our students who sat for the June/July NECO Examination. Your good grade is well deserved. You are all testimony to the fact that limitation is simply a state of one's mind. We can actually do all things if we set our heart to it.
As an Institution for Further Learning, we rejoice with you.

4th ENCOUNTER NIGHT

UNDERSTANDING THE WONDERS OF DEDICATION
John 12: 23-26. Every child of God is a seed after the order of Christ. Death is the passage to life. If you pity a seed and refuse to sow it to the ground, it has no future. Jesus came as seed, so he expect us to be seeds. Without contact with soil, seed cannot be maximized.
We can never maximize destiny without dedication. The course of our lives can only and always be changed by dedication.
Genesis 8:22, Mark 4:30-33. What makes a seed useful is sowing it. Seeds un sowed is at a risk of being destroyed. Our security in ministry is our dedication to the service of the kingdom.

What is dedication.
- Dedication is serving God without reservation. Matthew 22:38.
- Dedication means to be dead to self and alive to God. 1 Corinthian 9:16,
- It is all about being sold out to God and to the advancement of his kingdom
- It means being deadly committed to God.
- Its being sold out to a curse at a cost. You must be mocked first before being gloried by God.
Every seed must pay its price for dedication.
- It is binding oneself to a curse.
Isaiah 51:1-3, John 10:17-18. It is lives that are dedicated that gets the attention of God. Every seed has the capacity to grow out by itself. What follows dedication is distinction.
Hebrews 12:1-2. Dedication calls for Patience. When we pay our due of dedication our next level is enthronement. The longer it takes for your dedication, the better the plan of God for you. It may take time but patiently wait.

We had some rib cracking and serious brain storming session in class last Monday, when we took on Evolutionary Creationism in our study of Anthropology. Some of our students were completely stunned with the topic, others however tried their best to accommodate the new knowledge they acquired. Though, the information some how got in the way of their Christian belief.
But what is your own notion on the subject? Do you think the peopling of the earth came accidentally as the Bible puts it? How do we also explain the variation in the different race on the earth as it has to do with their skeletal framework? Races is more than pigmentation, it is also evident in the skeleton of the different race. Can all these be traced to one ancestry, if yes what led to the variation in bone structure, size of the cranium, slanting eyes, flat nostril and pigment?
All these we shall be giving answers to in our subsequent meetings in class.
