One of the things that were highlighted to me last week was the importance of mentors, coaches, friends and people who believe in and follow your vision.
I see that we cannot reach our full potential without mentors and coaches who have gone ahead of us and can help us be the best version our self.
Truly, no one ever reaches the peak without good mentors, coaches, friends and people who believe in and follow their vision.
Moses in the Bible was going to wear himself out, but his father-in-law saw a blind spot that he didn't see and he advised him to dedicate some of his responsibilities to people who has been with him for a while.
Elisha had Elijah, and Esther had Mordecai who mentored her from when she was just a young Jewish girl to when she became queen. All through the book of Esther, we see how Modecai mentored and coached her, and obviously, Esther became one of the greatest queens in history.
David had Jonathan, Jonathan was a friend that stocked closer than a brother. He was a friend. We saw the impact of that relationship on both parties. Aaron, Caleb and Joshua, believed in the vision of Moses and they followed him.
Samson did not have a mentor, he was a man of himself, a leader of himself, woke up to do whatever he liked, and we all saw how he ended.
It's important to have genuine people in your life, people you can be vulnerable to. People who genuinely love and want the best for you.
Some of us may have been hurt and betrayed. May God heal your heart, but trust me when I say God can bring quality people into your lives, from Fathers, mentors, coaches, friends and followers who genuinely love and care for you.
If you want to become the best version of yourself and reach your fullest potential then you need good people playing the different roles I have listed above in your life.
Dear friend, you don't have to walk alone.
