The political Class are not threaten by the protest because they have the military backing. Change strategy. We should start appealing to the conscience of the military man and see how the government of the day will be quick to attend to our demand

30/07/2024

Must there be casualties before the government of the day will do the needful. 1 month notice was given prior to the protest. The time, resources and effort they are putting towards quenching the protest would have been enough to implement the demands of Nigerians.

Calling pastor, Governors, Union Leaders, sharing bags of rice will not stop people from going to streets. Just implement 3 of Nigerian demand and watch how the protest will die a natural death.
Nigerian are not asking for too much. Stop spending money on what will not produce results. my humble submission

Learning Alot from DANGOTE latest story.

No one knows or sees the sacrifice you are paying over the years, but they will be quick to throw stones once the success starts coming.

Sir Aliko Dangote is just doing few of the countless business in Nigeria. There are other lines of business. If all the wealthy persons in Nigeria can create businesses like him (Dangote) especially in area of Agriculture. I believe the issue of food scarcity in Nigeria would have been since resolve and they will be Job opportunity.

Sir Aliko Dangote has paid his Due. He should benefit.
His achievement should be a motivation to US and not throwing stone at because you presume he wants to monopolize the Economy

We do hope you find this article helpful. As we have said, this UNIBEN cut-off mark for 2020/2021 is not an official release from the school but was made available by a trusted source and statistical data.
NOTE: The admission criteria is a robot one that doesn't depend on the aspirant's aggregate score only for admission. The catchment area is also an important criterion that UNIBEN uses as well.
HOW TO CALCULATE UNIBEN’S AGGREGATE SCORE AND CUT OFF MARK FOR 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION
Now let’s show you a practical example on how to calculate UNIBEN’s Aggregate Score:
Please Note:
UNIBEN Aggregate JAMB Score = 50%
UNIBEN Aggregate Post UTME Score = 50%
Step 1: To calculate your aggregate score, you are to divide your JAMB score by 8
Step 2: Divide Your Post UTME score by 2
Whatever your answers are in step 1 and step 2, sum them up to know what your score is over 100.
Let us assume Mr. Ben scored 250 in his JAMB UTME and scores 70 in his post UTME, Mr. Ben’s UNIBEN aggregate score would be calculated as follows:
a) JAMB score divided by 8 that is, 250/8 =31.25%
b) Post UTME score divided by 2, that is, 70/2 = 36.5%
Then sum up both scores together, that is, 31.25% + 36.5% = 67.75%
Therefore, Mr. Ben’s aggregate score would be 67.75% out of 100% and this is considered above average.

some field in Animal science
Nutrition

Nutritionists want to know how to keep animals healthy by giving them the right food. This field can be challenging because not all animal foods are available around the world.

Physiology

How do animal bodies work? Physiologists study the organs, bones and muscles of animals. By studying animal bodies, scientists can keep pets, livestock and farm animals healthy and productive.

Reproductive Physiology

Some animal scientists study how animal reproduction works. They want to know about the hormones and anatomy that leads to the next generation of animals.

Animal Behavior

Ever seen a cat “meow?” That’s an example of animal behavior. Animal scientists studying animal behavior want to know more about why animals act the way they do. This field is also called “ethology.”

Genetics and Breeding

Humans have been breeding animals for thousands of years. Scientists study aspects like DNA, genetic modification and cloning.

Animal Products

Many people rely on animals for food. Animal scientists work to make sure meat, milk and eggs are nutritious and safe for consumption. Some study how to raise the most productive animals, and some study how to keep products safe on the way to the grocery store.

Education

Where will the next generation of animal scientist come from? Some animal scientists become educators. They teach students about the science behind animal production.

1. CALL UP LETTER: This is a vital part of camp registration and the only evidence that you are a prospective corps member (colloq. Corper, or Otondo) and you are not impersonating anyone. This will be taken from and not returned to you. So if at all you even forget you luggage (lol) never forget this.
2. Registration Documents: Foreign graduates should take along important registration documents used in registering at Abuja.
3. Final Year Student Identity CARD
4. Notification/Statement of Result from School
5. PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS: This is very important. Take as many as you can, about 20 in red backgrounds. You would need them at every registration point mostly. Then those of you who would likely redeploy or join one group or the other in camp, you would need more than others. Remember UNIBEN stress on passport na.lol
6. PHOTOCOPIES OF YOUR DOCUMENTS: Now make about 5-10 copies of every document required. There would be photocopiers in camp at mammy market but trust me, it is double the price and it saves time.
Tip: The forms that will be handed to you are very easy to fill. Attach your passport where necessary and fill them correctly. After your registration, you will be issued with your State Code Number. This will be like your PIN throughout your Service Year.
7. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: For Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses & Lab Scientists, take along your proof of certification.
8. STATIONERY: PEN, PAPER, GUM, TIPPEX. Yeah this saves time and lots of unnecessary begging.
Tip: Some camps do seize staplers at the gate during check-in. So do not forget to include pins in your stapler if you are taking that along.
Tip: After getting your NYSC State Code Number, you can proceed to claim your NYSC Kit and Mattress after which you can proceed to get a Room. After you have gotten your kit and secured a place in the hostels, you can settle down and you are good to go to start the Military parades.
Now, Your NYSC kit should contain 1 NYSC Crested Vest, A pair of Khaki Trousers, Cap and Jacket, 2 White T-shirts, 2 Pairs of Knickers, 2 pairs of green-stripped Stockings, A Pair of Orange Jungle Boots and One Pair of White Converse. A “Belt” is also included.
DAILY NEEDS:
9. ROUND-NECKED WHITE T-SHIRTS: This is an essential outfit in camp in fact in most camps this is the only allowed cloth to be worn throughout your 3 weeks. Even to church, you might not be allowed to wear colored cloths. You would be given 2 pairs of white t-shirts at camp to just fulfill all righteousness which surely would never be your size especially our very slim and small otondo in size . So you can bring extra pairs (6). Why? Because you probably wont have time to wash during the week after being stressed out from the parades and Man-O-War drills.
Tip: Do not carry more than 2 pairs of colored clothes because you wont need it.
10. WHITE SHORTS: I beg you please do bring yours. you would also be given 2 pairs of shorts which are really poor in material. They tear easily and it can be annoying. So my dear Otondos bring like 4 pairs of shorts. Trust me also you wont like to wash everyday, so bring enough to last you like 3 days so that you wont be stranded. Just think i should share.

Smartest animals

RAT
Rat, is a highly intelligent yet much-maligned animal in Western cultures. Widely used in research, the lab rat has been known to find shortcuts, loopholes and escape routes in the laboratory experiments designed by the top scientific minds of our time. In Chinese culture, the rat is revered for its cunning and resourcefulness. And for good reason - the rat has successfully colonized every continent on Earth except for Antarctica. And if history is any indication, they'll be there too soon enough.
Octopus
Kudos should go to the invertebrate with the strength and skill to screw a lid off a jar! No. 9 in our list is the octopus, one of the smartest creatures in the sea. This animal is still poorly understood, but scientists are constantly discovering new and impressive octopus abilities. They play, solve problems, navigate through mazes and have a respectable short-term memory. But how is an animal that belongs to the same class as the snail capable of such clever feats? It may be that the combination of strength, agility, curiosity and a lot of brainpower sets the octopus apart from its soft-bodied brethren.
Pigeon
Pigeons are abundant in most major cities of North America, but most people think of them as mere pests. However, this ubiquitous bird is actually quite smart. Because pigeons have been the subjects of countless scientific experiments, there is a wealth of knowledge about their intellectual abilities. For example, pigeons can recognize hundreds of images even after several years have passed. They can also identify themselves in a mirror, be taught to perform a sequence of movements and to discriminate subtle differences between two objects - pretty impressive for a mere pest.

Squirrel
This animal's dogged persistence and impeccable memory have made it the nemesis of gardeners throughout its vast range. Most squirrels display an impressive array of tricks and strategies that help them survive. For starters, these clever creatures are essentially woodland animals that have adapted to living alongside humans, eating out of bird-feeders, flower gardens and whatever food might be lying around. They are also able to store and cache food for leaner times, and then find their hidden morsels many months later. They may also pretend to hide food in order to confuse potential thieves, which researchers believe shows an advanced level of cunning and
Pig
Despite a reputation for gluttony and poor hygiene, pigs are actually highly intelligent animals. Both domestic and wild species are known for their ability to adapt to a variety of different ecological conditions. They seem to be at least as trainable as cats and dogs, and certain domestic pigs have become a favorite pet in the U.S. Pigs are also extremely flexible. Unlike most other ungulates, which are strictly herbivorous, pigs and their relatives are omnivores with a diet that sometimes includes worms and small vertebrates. Where they have been introduced around the world, pigs tend to out-compete the native species. Though devastating to the native species, this trend is yet another strong indication of pig cleverness.

Crow
Crossing the street against traffic may be called "jay-walking," but jays and other members of the crow family understand better than some humans the importance of waiting for the light to change. Crows living in urban areas are known to gather nuts from trees and then place them in the street for passing cars to crack open the shells. Then, after waiting patiently for the light to change, they return to the street to retrieve their nutty snack - an impressive example of animal innovation. Crows also communicate in elaborate population-specific dialects and play games and tricks on one another. Some scientists even believe that crows are more intelligent than primates.

Elephant
Contrary to popular perception, elephants are more than just lumbering giants with big ears and a good memory. In fact, elephants are quite elegant, cultured and curious. They have been known to clean their food and use tools in various ways in the wild, and they can also follow human commands in captivity. Elephants are also extremely caring and empathetic to other members of their group and to other species, which is considered a highly advanced form of intelligence.

Dolphin
Have you ever wondered why dolphins and other cetaceans are the star attraction at most aquariums? It's because they're smarter than almost any other creature on the planet. Dolphins are extremely social animals. Schools of dolphins can be observed in the world's oceans surfing, racing, leaping, spinning, whistling and otherwise enjoying themselves. They also have a sophisticated "language," though humans have only begun to unravel it. Dolphins use tools in their natural environment and can learn an impressive array of behavioral commands by human trainers. Like many of the most intelligent animals on Earth, dolphin females remain with their young for several years, teaching them all the tricks of the dolphin trade.
