If you're wrapping up NYSC and considering studying abroad on a scholarship, here’s a quick guide:
1. Compile a list of available local and international scholarships.
2. Research universities offering your preferred course—start with [4icu.org](https://www.4icu.org/).
3. Prepare for exams like TOEFL, GRE, or IELTS by visiting [ets.org](https://www.ets.org/).
4. Develop a strong Statement of Purpose (SOP) or motivation statement.
5. Obtain a PDF of your undergraduate transcript.
6. Apply for an international passport.
7. Connect with at least three lecturers for reference letters. Build relationships early.
8. Schedule your exam dates to stay motivated—allow about four weeks for TOEFL preparation and four to six months for GRE, especially if you’re targeting the USA.
