From raw material called Resin. Most time refers to PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate) to PREFORM (this is a product from an injection molding machine) as a semi finish product to be used as a raw material in bottling company and for the production of PET CSD drinks, such as coke, sprite, fanta, predator etc in a plastic bottle.
The preform is blown in a predefined blow mold to take the shape of the plastic bottle we see.
This is indeed a great technology, which will stand the test of time because the raw material is recyclable because of their thermoplastic in nature.
