CERHI Hosts 500-Level Medical Students of the University of Benin for an Immersive Learning Experience.
We had the pleasure of welcoming 500-level Medical Students from the University of Benin to CERHI for an exciting educational tour! From our Research and Molecular Laboratories to the High-Fidelity Simulation Lab and Library, the students got a firsthand look at how research, technology, and innovation are transforming reproductive healthcare.
It was a day filled with learning, curiosity, and meaningful conversations—and we're excited to play a part in inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

STUDENTS' PRESENTATION OF INTERNSHIP AND INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AT THE CERHI RESEARCH AND MOLECULAR LABORATORY
Our internship and industrial training students at the CERHI Research and Molecular Laboratory proudly presented the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience they gained during their training.
From PCR and molecular diagnostics to biosafety, microbiology, quality assurance, and scientific reporting, the presentations showcased their growth, confidence, and readiness for careers in biomedical research and public health.
A big congratulations to all our interns and sincere appreciation to our supervisors, mentors, researchers, and technical staff—especially Dr. Fidelis Okolafor—for their dedication to mentoring future scientists.

Simulation-Based Clinical Skills Training for 400- and 500-Level Medical Students at CERHI, University of Benin
On 24th June 2026, 400- and 500-Level Medical Students of the University of Benin participated in an immersive simulation training at CERHI.
From Neonatal Resuscitation and Pediatric Emergency Care to Normal Delivery and Breast Examination, students gained practical experience that strengthens their readiness for real-world clinical practice.
Building competent, confident, and compassionate healthcare professionals—one simulation at a time.

The Centre of Excellence in Reproductive Health Innovation, CERHI, University of Benin, heartily congratulates Dr. (Mrs.) Otaniyenuwa Eloghosa Obarisiagbon, our Centre Leader, on her elevation to Professor of Public Health and Community Medicine.

Professor Otaniyenuwa Eloghosa Obarisiagbon has consistently advanced knowledge, improved health outcomes, and set high standards within the University and beyond.
