Many parents can buy anything no matter the price to make their children look good, comfortable and live happy but take light of the kind of person their child is becoming.

An African adage has this to say;

"*When parents are too busy making money, buying properties and building houses at the expense of their child's training,

the child in the near future will sell those properties to take care of himself.

But if the child is properly trained, he or she will improve on and expand on what the parents have achieved*"

Most of the approaches to parenting I see today are either primitive or immature or a combination of both.

*No parent wants to regret how their children turned out in life because of their ignorance, arrogance or negligence.*

This is the purpose of this book.

Moreover, the parenting window is a short one and you have to give it your best shot today, not tomorrow.

The real fruit of parenting doesn't show up until it's often too late to make changes.

You can see that God was concerned and impressed with Abraham's parenting ability.

This among others qualified him as a custodian of God's promises and commitment.

God is watching how you are training those children he gave you to determine His commitment to you and them.
