A WRITEUP ON THE SIDE EFFECTS OF COMMON ANALGESIC DRUGS (PARACETAMOL)

Technically, the term analgesic refers to a medication that provides relief from pains without putting you to sleep or making you loose consciousness.
Analgesic drugs are best referred to drugs that are used to relieve pain.They are also known as pain killers or pain relievers.

PARACETAMOL is a commonly used drug that can help treat pain and reduce a high temperature(fever). It is typically used to relieve mild or moderate pain, such as headaches and reduces fever caused by illness such as colds and flu.

BENEFITS
Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) is a pain reliever and a fever reducer. Paracetamol is used to treat many conditions such as headaches, muscle aches, arthritis, backaches, toothaches, colds and fevers.

SIDE EFFECTS OF THE COMMON ANALGESIC DRUG: PARACETAMOL.
Here are some side Effects of paracetamol
1. Skin rash that may include itchy, red swollen, blistered or peeling skin.
2. Wheezing.
3. Tightness in the chest or throat.
4. Trouble breathing or talking as a result of excess usage
5. Mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat start swelling.
6. Low fever with nausea, stomach pain and loss of appetite.
7. Dark urine, clay colored stools.
8. Jaundice (yellowing) of the skin or eyes.
9. Unusual bleeding or bruising.
10. Sudden decrease in the amount of urine.

Conclusively, though paracetamol is part of over the over the counters drug, it is highly imperative to avoid taking an overdose or in excess.
