TO MY TEACHERSโฆ โค๏ธ๐
Tomorrow, the world will celebrate teachers with beautiful pictures, appreciation messages, gifts and kind words.
But today, I want to say something deeper.
To my teachers, I see you.
I see the mornings you arrive when the world is still waking up.
I see the lessons you prepare, the notebooks you mark, the questions you answer repeatedly, the children you correct, encourage, comfort and sometimes carry emotionally without anyone knowing.
I see the days when you are tired but still have to smile.
I see the times you give your best to a child who may not immediately appreciate it.
And I see something many people don't see:
Teaching is not just about standing in front of a classroom. It is about leaving a piece of yourself in the lives of other people's children.
A teacher doesn't only teach a child how to read, calculate or write.
A teacher can be the reason a child begins to believe,
"I can do this."
A teacher can be the adult who notices when a child is struggling silently.
A teacher can correct a weakness today and unknowingly shape a destiny tomorrow.
That is why, to my teachers at Royal Signet Christocentric Schools, I want you to know that your work is bigger than your monthly salary, bigger than your classroom and bigger than today's challenges.
You are helping us raise TOTAL CHILDREN.
Children with knowledge.
Children with character.
Children with confidence.
Children who understand responsibility.
Children grounded in the fear of God.
But let me also say this:
Teachers are human beings too.
They get tired.
They make mistakes.
They have families, worries, bills, dreams and battles of their own.
So while we demand excellence from teachers, let us also learn to appreciate, support, develop and treat them with dignity.
Because behind every great school is not just a beautiful building.
There are teachers who keep showing up.
To every teacher who has ever stayed after school to help a child, rewritten a lesson because the first approach didn't work, wiped a child's tears, celebrated a small improvement or prayed silently for a difficult learnerโฆ
Thank you.
Your impact may not always be visible today.
But someday, a child you taught may stand somewhere great and say:
โThere was a teacher who believed in me.โ
And when that day comes, you will understand that the seeds you planted were never wasted.
Happy Teachers' Day in advance to my incredible team of educators. โค๏ธ
May God strengthen you, reward your sacrifices and continually make you better instruments in the lives of the children entrusted to you.
To my teachers: I appreciate you. I respect you. I see you. And I am grateful for you. ๐น๐
