See how Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy are getting all of the attention now. A day will come when the table will turn around and it will be new faces headling the news trending and gaining the spotlights This reminds me of the days of Daddy Shoki, Tony Tetuilla, Zulezu, African China, D Banj, D Prince, Phynom and their likes.

We are the next generation. Let's keep preparing ourselves for the new world.

"If Nigerian artîst want to win Grammys, they should promote afrobeats instead of amapiano which is originally from South Africa. We can never do amapiano better than South Africans cuz it's not just a genre but it's their culture." Portable

The fact is, almost every African artist that was nomînated at the was nominated with an amapiano song. No other African artist could possibly win in the African cathegory even if they performed better cuz the only South African nominee was very authentic👀

Davido was not robbed. The fact that you consider him your favorite doesn't mean he should win ahead of others who did greatly too.
Every nominated artist had a shot at winning, so don't take out your frustrations at the fact that someone else won ahead of your favorite or countryman.

Your perspective is definitely different from theirs. Whether he wins or not, it won't change how great he is.

Big ups to Burna Boy, Davido, Asake, Ayra Star, and even Rema (my Edo brother) for all the hard/smart work and also for continuing to put the country on the world map. We are gods and we are bigger than the Grammys.
