NEWSLETTER

We have come to the end of the second term in 2017/2018 academic session. May we give thanks to the almighty God for seeing us through to a successful end of the term. The term, though short, recorded a number of important activities.

EXCURSION: Our first excursion to wonderland Awka was a great success. Our children had the opportunity to see various animals and birds. The day was quite memorable.

BOOK REVIEW: Our book review day on March 2, 2018 turnout was encouraging. The speaker taught us (Parents) fun learning and methods. I hope we all will put it into practice.

However, we still want to appeal to parents who don’t show up on these important days to please take it seriously as this is an important forum for parents to review and appraise their children’s academic progress.

Education of a child is a collective responsibility and so we need to join hands together to achieve better results.

CULTURAL DAY: To celebrate the minority tribes in Nigerian culture, we chose to celebrate the Ijaw, Urhobo and Efik tribes of Nigeria. We did it to appreciate the diversity in Nigerian culture. Thanks to our parents for making it a success.

Children for non extended stay should be picked by 2:30pm, while those for extended stay are to be picked by 4pm.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES NEXT TERM

CAREER DAY: Dear parents, please help your children/child to choose a particular career and make a costume of uniform that depicts that career.

PRIZE GIVING DAY: We will keep appreciating our children’s efforts. Please help us in making our stars to keep shinning and also discovering new stars.

EASTER MESSAGE.
Our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for the salvation on mankind. He rose from death to prove his supremacy. Let us see the Easter as a period to educate our children on righteousness. We should not engage ourselves in wasteful spending. Instead, let’s extend our hands of fellowship to the needy. Eating and drinking should be moderated as we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

RESUMPTION DATE:
The school is scheduled to resume for the third term on the 16th of April, 2018. Parents should kindly put this in mind as we hope to see our pupils fully ready and available for the forthcoming term. I pray that the Lord will guide and protect each and every one of us and lead us safely back to school in Jesus name. Thank you and God bless you.
