As All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, the fastest growing political party in Nigeria heads into primary election in view of the 2019 general election in the country, it's pertinent to remind ourselves that we are stronger together.

This reminder has become necessary due to the very important involvement of members of Team Obiano vis a viz the promotion of APGA through the popularisation of qualities of the numerous Aspirants in our great party.

It's an open knowledge that over 90% of APGA aspirants both within and outside Anambra State, today have one or more members of Team Obiano as their aides, media/protocol or otherwise... This is a great development!

And being the outcome of our good job leading to the 21-over-21 flawless victory of Gov Willie Obiano; and our unique way of selling brands without rancour or resorting to name calling, we must take caution not to lose that rare character.

This unique attribute of Team Obiano is second to none! Kudos to us all!

Therefore, while appreciating all aspirants that have engaged our team members; and also thanking Team Obiano for upholding decorum in serving their various bosses, we wish to strongly advise that:

1. No member of Team Obiano should drop the Ethical Code to engage in name calling... It's ethuggery and we have always rejected it;

2. No member should see a fellow member as an enemy simply because he or she is an aide to an opposing aspirant;

3. All members should note that, after the primary election, only one person shall win in each of the positions;

4. No member should allow himself or herself to be pushed into maligning fellow members, our great party and/or our Maecenas, his family or his administration;

5. No member should be pushed by the unavoidable emotion that comes with election victory or loss to make denigrating remarks against fellow members, our great party and/or our Maecenas, his family or his administration;

6. No member should be lured by rumour mongering, promises, wishes, dreams and whatsoever into openly speaking or taking actions negating party decisions without exhausting the internal mechanisms of expressing concerns;

7. Every member shall remain respectful to the party stakeholders and show total loyalty to the leadership of the party led by Dr Victor Oye.

Our being in a team signifies our agreement to forego our personal interests in protection of the overall interest of APGA which has Gov Willie Obiano as National Leader and Chairman, Board of Trustees.

No matter what happens, we shall dust our skills and tools, work together with relevant media teams and political structures to deliver APGA candidates come 2019.

And just as promised, we shall remain together and fully integrated to continue to break new grounds.

We are family, Gov Willie Obiano remains our Maecenas and we are ever stronger together.

Digipreneur: Anambra Partners Facebook, Trains 300 Women in Online Marketing

The Anambra State Government has trained not less than 300 female entrepreneurs in Online Marketing in Awka, the State Capital.

The Senior Special Assistant to Gov Willie Obiano, Engr Ifeanyi ANIAGOH made the disclosure on Saturday at the end of a 3-day free training program held at Stanel World, Awka.

According to ANIAGOH, 100 female entrepreneurs were trained on each of the 3 days by Facebook certified trainers led by Chikwenze with practical exercises aimed at enhancing their entreprenerial abilities.

He said, the special training organized exclusively for women is a product of unique partnership between the State Government and Facebook through She Leads Africa, Digipreneur Hub and Stanel World.

ANIAGOH said such training by Facebook is happening for the first time in South East Nigeria noting that only Anambra has enjoyed the privilege of 3 straight days.

He said, Gov Obiano does not believe in gathering young people and sharing fish to them but more committed to teaching them how to fish, hence, the huge interest of the governor in empowering the youths through entrepreneurship and creative economy.

ANIAGOH said a great number of youths have benefitted from the Digital Entrepreneurship campaign and programs of the State Government tagged Digipreneur.

He said the Digipreneur programs has facilitated the unlocking of the innate capacities of Anambra Youths many of whom are not only becoming self reliant but creating wealth and employing others.

Engr ANIAGOH said, through Digipreneur programs, the State Government has trained 2,900 young people in wealth creating digital skills within the last four months.

He said the Digipreneur programs are designed in line with the vision of the Governor to raise the pool of young entrepreneurs that would dictate the pace in the digital world, assuring that with the continued guidance of the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy, Bonaventure Enemali and the ingenuity of Youth Empowerment, Entrepreneurship and Creative Economy Council headed by Dr Nikky Okoye, provisions will be made for more trainings and possibly, some financial support to successful trainees.

Released: August Event Dates for Mentoring Moment and Digipreneur Trainings

.. Another week of life-changing moments for ndi Anambra

The 2018 Digipreneur Week held last month at Stanel World Awka resulted to 20 automatic employments; 17 new start-ups; digital tools worth N5m and training of 1000 persons on digital skills. And here’s the list of August event dates for another set of life changing programs for the benefit of ndi Anambra, male or female; employed and unemployed.

With quality partnerships and endorsements, the Anambra State Ministry of Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy headed by Honourable Bonaventure Enemali is facilitating key trainings on the digital entrepreneurship space at zero cost and hugely subsidized rates through a unique campaign tagged "Digipreneur".

The Digipreneur Campaign led by the Senior Special Assistant to Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra State on Youth Development and Digital Entrepreneurship, Engr Ifeanyi ANIAGOH is inline with the governor's vision to explore creative economy in changing the Anambra Story through youth development and empowerment, and curbing unemployment.

This August events cover the month's edition of Mentoring Moment with Dr Ifeanyi Ubah as the mentor of the month; a special Online Reputation Management Training for Politicians and their aides; and an Exclusive Training on Facebook for Women. The events run from the last week of August into the first day of September.

First in the week-long activities is the Mentoring Moment, a unique program designed to have 1000 Anambra Youths under the mentorship of a successful entrepreneur, once every month.

Following the successful maiden edition which had the CEO of Stanel World, Dr Stanley Uzochukwu, as the July Mentor of the Month, this August will feature Dr Ifeanyi Ubah who will be mentoring 1000 young persons drawn from the 21 local government areas of the State.

The next day after the Mentoring Moment follows an Online Reputation Management training for politicians aimed at changing the narrative and ending ethuggery.

As the 2019 elections get closer, more than ever, politicians, political parties, governments and even media aides must learn the science of Online Reputation Management in order to be a step ahead of the usual dirty politics being played in our society; in addition to putting everything in place to protect and manage their reputation online. Thus, participants will be exposed to learn to take command of communication in all key social platforms including Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.

And lastly, there will be an exclusive Facebook training for women to empower 300 Anambra Women to become globally recognized entrepreneurs leveraging on Facebook Tools.
