We are stronger together... Team Obiano take note!
.. Stand together; no name calling: now and after the primary election!
As All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, the fastest growing political party in Nigeria heads into primary election in view of the 2019 general election in the country, it's pertinent to remind ourselves that we are stronger together.
This reminder has become necessary due to the very important involvement of members of Team Obiano vis a viz the promotion of APGA through the popularisation of qualities of the numerous Aspirants in our great party.
It's an open knowledge that over 90% of APGA aspirants both within and outside Anambra State, today have one or more members of Team Obiano as their aides, media/protocol or otherwise... This is a great development!
And being the outcome of our good job leading to the 21-over-21 flawless victory of Gov Willie Obiano; and our unique way of selling brands without rancour or resorting to name calling, we must take caution not to lose that rare character.
This unique attribute of Team Obiano is second to none! Kudos to us all!
Therefore, while appreciating all aspirants that have engaged our team members; and also thanking Team Obiano for upholding decorum in serving their various bosses, we wish to strongly advise that:
1. No member of Team Obiano should drop the Ethical Code to engage in name calling... It's ethuggery and we have always rejected it;
2. No member should see a fellow member as an enemy simply because he or she is an aide to an opposing aspirant;
3. All members should note that, after the primary election, only one person shall win in each of the positions;
4. No member should allow himself or herself to be pushed into maligning fellow members, our great party and/or our Maecenas, his family or his administration;
5. No member should be pushed by the unavoidable emotion that comes with election victory or loss to make denigrating remarks against fellow members, our great party and/or our Maecenas, his family or his administration;
6. No member should be lured by rumour mongering, promises, wishes, dreams and whatsoever into openly speaking or taking actions negating party decisions without exhausting the internal mechanisms of expressing concerns;
7. Every member shall remain respectful to the party stakeholders and show total loyalty to the leadership of the party led by Dr Victor Oye.
Our being in a team signifies our agreement to forego our personal interests in protection of the overall interest of APGA which has Gov Willie Obiano as National Leader and Chairman, Board of Trustees.
No matter what happens, we shall dust our skills and tools, work together with relevant media teams and political structures to deliver APGA candidates come 2019.
And just as promised, we shall remain together and fully integrated to continue to break new grounds.
We are family, Gov Willie Obiano remains our Maecenas and we are ever stronger together.
