Retreat is a moment of reflection, recollection, renewal, and spiritual growth. ✨

Yesterday, the management, staff, corps members, and students of St. John of God Secondary School, Awka, stepped away from their daily routines to gather in the school halls for our annual School Retreat. Guided by our school motto—Charity and Knowledge, it was a powerful day dedicated to the holistic formation of both mind and soul. 📚🕊️

Our students dove deep into moral and spiritual insights with Rev. Fr. Augustus Aduaka, who delivered the empowering message: "You Are More Than Any Label Given to You." At the same time, our dedicated staff and corps members were inspired by Bro. Elias Nwakasi on the theme, "Teaching: A Divine Call."
The School Manager, Rev Fr Malachy Maduewesi expressed the deepest sentiment of gratitude for the facilitators.

We concluded the day with a Penitential Rite and Benediction, leaving the entire community spiritually refreshed, united, and deeply motivated.

With this strong spiritual foundation, we look forward to an even brighter and more successful future ahead for our school and our wonderful students 🌟👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
