Should your child attend summer classes?

Before you answer that question, ask yourself these three questions.
Is my child meeting the expectations for the last grade?

Is my child academically ready for the next grade?

Are there learning gaps that need to be addressed before school resumes?

Don't decide based on what another parent is doing. Don't compare your child with the child who came first in class. Every child learns at a different pace and has different needs.

As a school with years of experience, I can tell you that the holiday is one of the best opportunities to strengthen a child's foundation. It isn't about giving children more work, it's about giving them the support they need to start the new school year with confidence.

Remember, learning doesn't have to take the whole day. A focused one-hour learning session each day can make a meaningful difference over the holidays.

So, before you decide whether your child needs summer classes, don't ask, "What is everyone else doing?" Ask, "What does my child need?"
