Today, at Domus Mariae College Igarra, we pause to remember and honour our fallen heroes, the brave men and women of the Nigerian Armed Forces who paid the ultimate price to secure our nation’s peace, freedom and unity.

We remember not just their uniforms, but their bravery. Not just their battles, but their belief in a safer, stronger Nigeria.🇳🇬

Their sacrifices remind us that peace is preserved through selflessness, discipline, and love for country 🤍.

Their courage, selflessness and unwavering commitment to duty remind us that the safety we enjoy today was earned through great sacrifice. We salute not only those who fell in service but also the families they left behind, whose strength and resilience continue to inspire us.

BACK TO SCHOOL - SECOND TERM, 2026
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we welcome our learners (your children/wards) back to school for the Second Term, please take note of the following important information:

1. All boarders are expected to resume on Saturday, 10th January, or Sunday, 11th January 2026.While day students are to resume on the 12th of January 2026.
2. Those without SOP(brown) should get one for morning worship in the assembly.
3. Students should return to school between 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on either Saturday or Sunday. Those who return late or during weekdays will be punished.
4. Kindly ensure your child/ward undergoes screening and treatment for typhoid, malaria, toilet-related infections, and other illnesses before resuming.
5. Remind your child/ward to
Wear face masks when using public vehicles/motorcycles to prevent them from inhaling dust. Also encourage them to use their cardigans in school to stay warm and prevent cold-related illnesses such as pneumonia.
6. Please clearly label all your child’s belongings, including uniforms and books, to avoid loss or mix-ups.Get more than one toothbrush 🪥 please. (Boarders)
7. Kindly forward your proof of payment to me. Fees are to be lodged into the school account..
