Marble Hill School Asaba

Our primary school pupils participated in this year's Mathematics Association of Nigeria's (MAN)maths competition (local government level) and emerged winners.

Each school in Oshimili South Local Government Area was represented by three pupils, and of all the pupils only the overall best three would be picked to compete at the state level.

To our pleasure, each of the three pupils representing Marble Hill School, Asaba scored 100%. This means that the first, second and third places were taken by our three pupils who emerged joint best, and will now proceed to the state level.

Marble Hill, up up we go!

Trend 100.9 FM, Asaba-Okpanam organised an inter-school debate for primary and secondary schools in Asaba and Okpanam.

Round One: our primary school pupils defeated Eagles Nursery and Primary School yesterday, while our secondary school students defeated Infant Jesus Academy today.

Following these victories, Marble Hill School has qualified for round two of the primary and secondary schools debate.

Today, 07/04/2017, Marble Hill School vacated for second term/Easter holidays.

Our sincere thanks go to God almighty for his special mercies which gave us another successful term; our parents for their support and advice; our teachers and other members of staff for their tireless effort and dedication, and our pupils and students for their obedience and hard work.

The good Lord will bring us back on the 24th of April —our resumption date— we pray. Amen.

The male staff of Marble Hill School (Asaba and Okpanam) were hosted by Faith Academy in a friendly football match against the male staff of Faith Academy on the latter's home ground.

Marble Hill School scored a lone second half goal to win the match.

Full-time: Faith Academy 0-1 Marble Hill School.

Marble Hill School became the second team to ever beat Faith Academy on their home turf!

Today, 24th of March 2017, we started our second term examination.

Good luck to our hard-working students.

Today, 21/02/2017 our secondary school students went to WichTech Aluminum on excursion. That was of course after having fun at FilmHouse Cinema, Okpanam Road, where they saw a movie titled 'Arrival'.

Our teacher, Mrs Ijeoma Chijindu Azu, celebrated her birthday today. We wish her more years, more strength and more blessings.

Nestle Milo are aware we raise champions here in Marble Hill School, so they paid us a visit last Wednesday and enjoyed a wonderful time with some of our primary school pupils.

The pupils engaged in some bouts of exercise, played basketball, and replaced lost energy by drinking cups of well-mixed Milo!

So Mummy of the school came around yesterday (26/01/2017) and was in the Chemistry/Biology laboratory to encourage our young scientists.
