IKA SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF DELTA AWARDS FIFTY THOUSAND NAIRA BURSARY TO ITS INDIGENE STUDYING IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

Tuesday, 16th June 2026, marked the official commencement of the disbursement of Ika South student bursaries, reaffirming the commitment of the local government council to support education and invest in the future of its young people.

This initiative is aimed at easing the financial burden on students and encouraging academic excellence across all communities. According to the Council Chairman Hon. Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior Education remains a vital tool for development, and the Council will continue to implement programs that empower her students to achieve their full potential.

We encourage all Federal College of Education (Technical) students of Ika South extraction to utilize the opportunity and benefit from this scheme.

We join the Local government Council Chairman and his team to congratulate all beneficiaries and urge them to remain focused on their studies as they prepare to become responsible leaders and contributors to society.
