MYTH ❌
The truth is you don't need to know every app.
You just need to be willing to learn and listen.
Technology changes quickly.
New apps appear, trends come and go, and children may sometimes know how to use certain platforms better than the adults around them.
But being a guardian in the digital world isn't about knowing every button, feature or trending app.
It's about staying interested.
Ask questions.
Learn alongside your child.
Understand the platforms they spend time on.
Most importantly, create a relationship where they feel comfortable coming to you when something online confuses, scares or worries them.
You don't have to be a technology expert to guide your child.
You just have to be present enough to listen and willing enough to learn.
Because when it comes to raising children in a digital world, “I don't understand technology” shouldn't mean “I can't help.”
