KEIMO MEDIA TRAINING
Keimo Multimedia is an independent organization specializing in world-class broadcast media training. It comprises of highly trained and experienced media and IT practitioners with a passion for multi- media training and research and an overall objective to enhance local capacity to use the media for capacity and development. The Center serves as an instrument for development
and social transformation, of people through the medium of social communications, by way of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the mass and social media. It is our goal to combine the service of the ICT application, mass and social media activities in one harmonious operation. The function of the center consists of: Training, Content Production, Consultancy and Research. We have a special interest in improving the skills, knowledge and capacity building of communication institutions in education, culture, development and advocacy. Over the years, Keimo Center has partnered with local broadcast institutions to conduct over 50 training/interventions for over 600 persons in Nigeria. Additionally, Keimo Center has coordinated radio series on eye care for Visio International with successful results. Keimo also works with the Nigeria Farmers Association AFAN in provision of training for farm radio. Our numerous partners include The Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, Voice of Nigeria VON – Abuja, Plateau Radio and Television, PRTV, Jos and The Voice of America, VOANEWS Hausa Service. Our Services are open to Community Media organizations, Private and Public media institutions, Traditional/Community leaders, the Youth, Women, Religious groups, government officials, Civil Society, the Media, Schools, Social Clubs, the Academia, and others.
