SEXUALITY COUNSELLING

Sexuality counselling, also known as s*x therapy, is a form of talk therapy with a focus on s*xual health and problems. It provides a safe, non-judgemental space for individuals and couples to discuss concerns related to s*xual desire, function, or intimacy, and to develop coping strategies and improve s*xual satisfaction.
Common Reasons for Seeking Sexuality Counseling

RELATIONSHIP ISSUES:

Problems with a partner, a lack of intimacy, mismatched s*xual desire, or poor communication about s*x can all lead to a need for counseling.

PSYCHOLOGICAL & EMOTIONAL FACTORS:

Stress, anxiety, depression, feelings of shame or guilt, and a poor body image can negatively impact s*xual function and desire.

SEXUAL TRAUMA:

Past experiences of s*xual abuse, assault, or harassment can have long-lasting effects on a person's s*xuality, requiring a supportive environment for healing.

SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION:

This can include issues with arousal, or**sm, or pain during s*x, which may stem from psychological or relationship problems.

COMPULSIVE SEXUAL BEHAVIOR:

Excessive engagement in s*xual activities, sometimes referred to as s*x addiction, can cause significant distress and harm to relationships, work, and financial stability.

LACK OF EDUCATION/MISEDUCATION:

Misconceptions or a lack of accurate information about s*x and s*xuality can create fear or anxiety

SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS (STIS):

Coping with an STI, or concerns about preventing transmission, is a valid reason for seeking professional support and guidance.

CULTURAL, RELIGIOUS, OR SOCIETAL CONFLICTS:

Individuals may struggle with internalizing or reconciling conflicting views on s*xuality.

Good afternoon fam 💙💙

MAJOR CHARACTERISTICS OF LEARNING DISABILITIES

6) EMOTIONAL DEFICITS: Their peers often reject them and are always in a foul mood. In addition to having a low sense of self-esteem, they are likely to violate social norms.

7) SOCIAL SKILLS DEFICIT: Students with learning disabilities do have problems making friends and functioning appropriately in social situations. They show significant difficulty in interpersonal interaction and understanding other people's feelings due to an inability to interpret facial expression, non-verbal and verbal communications.

8) PERSEVERATION: The child does not know when to stop one activity once it starts. He continues with the activity endlessly even when there is no longer need for it. The child is unable to shift attention or change behaviour, ideas or words. Throat too much attention to details.

Good morning fam💞

MAJOR CHARACTERISTICS OF LEARNING DISABILITIES

1) PERCEPTUAL MOTOR IMPAIRMENTS :
Children with learning disabilities may have difficulties differentiating objects by shape, size and colour. Their fine motor skills may be affected by problems with writing, colouring and cutting. Reversals of letters or numbers may also occur. Poor auditory perception awareness (discrimination, memory, sequence etc), poor visual perception.

2) MEMORY AND THINKING DISORDERS :
Children with learning disabilities may experience problems with short term memory and cannot solve problems and perform tasks effectively. They are incapable of memorizing and recalling information. It is, therefore, easy for them to forget even most recent information they have heard. They take a long time to organize thoughts before responding. Although they are capable of concrete thinking but are poor at abstraction and unable to pay attention or respond in an orderly manner. Cannot transfer learning from isolated skills to application.

3) ATTENTION DISORDER: As a result of learning disabilities, children may have difficulty concentrating or remaining on task long enough to complete it. They are frequently jumped from one activity to another. They are easily distracted, and they can hardly finish what they started.
