It is in view of the above that the Home Makers Club of Impact High School embarked on a field trip to the Dominos Pizza outlet to learn in a different way and also participate in pizza preparation.

HOME MAKERS CLUB

Clubs and societies in schools has been described as a very sacrosanct aspect of learning.

At Impact High School, there are different impactful clubs and societies ranging from Press Club, to Literary and Debating to JETS to Creative to Home Makers' Club, just to mention but a few.

Yesterday, Thursday, 3rd March, 2023, it was not only a beautiful sight to behold but also a scintillating and aroma filled environment, as the Home Makers Club of Impact High School displayed their skills and dexterity while having their club activities.

IMPACT HIGH SCHOOL, AKURE, BEATS OTHER SCHOOLS IN DEBATE COMPETITION

Building on its tradition of excellent performances, Impact High School, Akure has again done the state proud as it came first at the Debate Competition organized by the Rotary Club of Akure (Rotaract), today, Friday, 21st October, 2022.

The debate competition was to commemorate the ANNUAL BASIC EDUCATION & LITERACY EVENT 2022 titled ''IS TECHNOLOGY CREATING MORE JOBS THAN IT DOES ELIMINATE''.

At the end of the literary tussle amongst top schools in Ondo State, Impact High School came FIRST coming home with the FIRST POSITION AWARD FRAME FOR THE SCHOOL AND CERTIFICATES OF PERFORMANCE FOR PARTICIPATING STUDENTS.

Speaking on the secret behind winning the first position in the competition, the Principal of the school, Mr. Daniel Japhet said he was very confident that Impact Beacons was going to come home with the gold laurel going by their hard work, level of preparedness, and the school's tradition of excellent performance.

The ED, Chf. Mrs. Olutoyin Ade-Unuigbe, in her remarks said that the school was always on the look out for such external competitions, knowing full well that our Beacons will always do us proud. She commended the participating students, Awopetu Oluwajumilo and Oladele Dorcas, as well as their teachers for their hard work and commitment.

Their appointment takes effect today, 1st July, 2022.
