Dear LSSites,

The Law Students’ Society recently had the honor of visiting Prof. Damilola Sunday Olawuyi, SAN, FCIArb. The delegation, led by .5050 President Akinloye Iliyas Akinyemi and SACOL President Fagbohun Tijesunimi, represented the society and expressed their gratitude for Prof. Olawuyi’s invaluable support, presenting him with ‘The Compass’ Journal and an award of appreciation for his unwavering support.

In response, Prof. Olawuyi assured the Law Students’ Society of his continued support and mentorship, highlighting his commitment to providing guidance and resources to the Law Students’ Society. He emphasized the importance of legal education and encouraged students to strive for excellence in their studies.

The visit was a great success, fostering a stronger connection between the Law Students’ Society and Prof. Damilola Sunday Olawuyi, SAN, FCIArb.

Moot and Mock Society, UNIOSUN 2024/2025

We are pleased to announce the newly appointed executives of the Moot and Mock Society for the 2024/2025 administration.This appointment aligns with the LSS Constitution and ractified by the LSRC of the 11th progressive parliament.

We congratulate the newly appointed executives and we believe in their ability to drive the Moot and Mock Society to be a more effective Society.

It is also Cogent to note that *the Chairman of the Moot and Mock Society is also the Attorney General of the Law students’ society* and this is in accordance with the *LSS Bureau of Justice Code*

Their Tenure Commences immediately and we wish them a Successful tenure.
