It is with deep sadness and shock that SPUSSA ALUMNI UK received the news of the passing onto glory of Mr Femi Omobuwajo, the President of the General SPUSSA Alumni Association. We send our condolences to his immediate family and the entire SPUSSA ALUMNI family worldwide.
It was Mr Femi Omobuwajo that received Spussa Alumni UK leaders at the school campus in 2012 during the launch of the inaugaural Give Back Initiative where the idea of a well structured SPUSSA Alumni was discussed amongst many other progressive ideas on the smooth running of our alma mater. He not only ran with the ideas, but he also made sure every plan was pursued to the latter.
Mr Femi Omobuwajo was a fantastic human being with a heart of gold. He would create time for you no matter how tight his schedule is, irrespective of your status, whether his junior or mates. This reminds me of my visit to SPUSSA campus in 2018, despite his schedule and short notice, he made himself available and made the visit a much easier one than I expected, making sure I visited Pa and Mrs Olubodun residing outside of the campus as well.
Death, where is thy sting? Is this it? We are consoled that Senior Femi is resting in the bosom of the Lord, and we shall see again on the resurrection day.
We pray the Almighty God continue to keep and uphold the wife and children of Mr Femi Omobuwajo at this time. It is well.
Adieu, Mr. President.
