Mark 6:7-9.
Jesus gave them power and sent them without money.
He instructed they shouldn’t take money, they needed to be trained to depend on the supernatural.
The presence of power is the attraction of money. We are only broke because the supernatural has dwindled.
Any time our complaints about God’s work become a lack of money, it is a reflection of how much we have lost grip of the supernatural.
May the supernatural be restored in our lives and ministries.

GOD IS NOT ONLY ABLE, HE IS ALSO WILLING
Do you realize that Jesus is very interested in your acknowledging His ability and willingness to meet your deepest need?
Now, take the time and read these two short scriptures:
The first scripture is Matthew 9:28-29
Did you notice that Jesus asked the man who came to seek His help “Do you believe that I am able to do this?"
Why did he ask that question?
God’s power is released to you when you trust in God’s ability. In spite of the circumstances surrounding you or what looks like delay or hardship, they will soon fizzle out if your trust in God is unwavering.
Don’t mind the words of those who don’t have your kind of faith, they are mere detractors. Forget their small minds and keep trusting and be joyful in God.
Finally, JESUS healed the man’s son. So also will your solution be celebrated.
The second scripture is Matthew 8:2-3
In this scripture the two leprous men told Jesus “If you are willing you can make us clean.”
Wow! These ones believed that Jesus had the power to do, but whether he was willing was not clear to them. They were considering their imperfections and inadequacies. But to Jesus, anyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
There are 2 different meanings of the word “perish” in the Greek; one of them is “To lose out or disappear”.
When translated it means that, when an old person dies, he or she didn’t perish because the person has lived his or her life. But when a young person dies, people don’t say he or she died, they use the word “perish”. Do you know why? Because the person lost out of destiny.
So you can never lose out of destiny whether by death or by the oppression of the devil if you believe and know that Jesus is willing to help you.
Paul said in Acts 26:2: “I think myself happy…”
What was he happy about about?
Sufferings in his missionary journeys? Being beaten and battered for Christ' gospel? Where was his happiness coming from?
Listen to this!
Your joy or happiness shouldn’t stem from just achievements and fulfillments but the fact that you have peace with God.
God is both able and willing to help you accomplish your most expensive dreams. Don’t be discouraged when those who don’t know your secret begin to look down on you because of the temporal present. They will soon be grateful they have you around their lives.
God bless your day.

CONTROLLING YOUR TEMPER IS BETTER THAN CAPTURING A CITY.
'A quick-tempered person does foolish things.' Proverbs 14:17 NIV
Even though God does not judge us in our journey to align our emotions with the Spirit of patience and self-control, the embarrassment and regrets of our intermittent anger sometimes still leaves in us much to desire.
You overslept, the car wouldn't start, you were late for work, you had a little disagreement with another colleague at your workplace or a church member, your computer crashed... etc.
These things can make you angry to the point of retaining offence in your mind, but that is only if you let them.
The Bible says, 'Patience is better than strength. A person who is patient is better than a brave soldier” --Proverbs 16:32 (EASY)
Controlling your temper is better than capturing a city' (Proverbs 16:32 NCV).
Anger always comes back to bite you and ends up doing more damage than the thing that triggered it.
David said, 'Each morning you listen to my prayer, as I bring my request to you…..” Psalm 5:3 CEV.
So many things to tell God every morning, including the grace for self-control.
I hope you do use your morning hours well. Remember, I have talked about that.
Anger always comes back to bite you and ends up doing more damage than the thing that triggered it.
What a shame to let something that happened - twenty years or twenty minutes ago - to ruin your day.
I've made up my mind to enjoy every single day.
I may make mistakes; things may not go my way. I may be disappointed, but I'm going to live my life happy. I'm not going to let what does or doesn't happen to steal my joy.
Remember what Apostle Paul said in Acts 26:2 “I think myself happy…”
Nobody can make you happy like the Truth.
How?
1. When you realize that God still loves you far more than your mistakes, you will praise Him.
2. When you realize that you are not hated by the one who offends you, everyone is weak in some areas, you will completely let go.
3. When you realize that your future is already secured in God’s plan, you will face it with optimism and thanksgiving.
4. Ever wondered why a car's windscreen is big and its rear-view mirror small? That is because what's behind isn't as important as what's ahead. So keep looking ahead and not looking or thinking backward.
There is no life in your past.
God bless your day.

WHY YOU MUST SAFEGUARD YOUR FAITH.
As a nation, we are currently facing tough challenges and this can tamper with your faith as a believer. So, when things get tough, what do you do?
Today, I want to share this to help you strengthen your faith in these tough times.
Philippians 3:1 NLT says, “Whatever happens my dear brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. I never get tired of telling you these things, and I do it to safeguard your faith.”
From this Apostle Paul’s message, you can see clearly that the most important thing the enemy targets in your life is “your faith”. God wants your faith safeguarded. Jesus told Peter, I have prayed for you “that thy faith faileth not”.
Jesus didn’t pray that Peter should not fail, but that his ‘faith fails not’. Failure is not fatal.
Faithlessness is deadly. Your failures don’t destroy your chances. Faithlessness does.
Your faith is your victory. 1st John 5:4, your faith is your life. Romans 1:17.
What is faith?
In this context, your faith is "the consciousness of your sonship and victory in Christ".
That is your true life.
It surpasses all your present circumstances, whether they are negative or they are attacks from Satan. It is what makes you see Christ in all your affairs, whether you feel His presence or not.
Faith does not regret, does not fear the future, does not condemn self, does not measure past mistakes against future glory, faith is God in your NOW.
Faith looks upward and forward. In the eyes of faith whatever happened yesterday died with yesterday, today is new, never existed before, and should not be contaminated with yesterday's regrets. Move on!
A man who lives by faith never has reasons to regret. Because there is no failure memory in faith.
God bless you!

EFFECTIVE PRAYER
What effective prayer means in an actual sense, is far from what a lot of us think it is. Is it:
Shouting on top of one’s voice - No
Spend so much time - No
Express emotions by crying - No
So what?
1. Effective prayers begin with knowing what you already have in Christ so that you don’t begin to ask God for it again, rather you reenact or appropriate it in your prayer. Praying or begging God on what He has already given to you is a waste of time.
2. You may also have to know that there are some things you are asking God to give you that He has already been shown to someone who you must learn it from. Either through their books, interactions, or counsel.
For instance, there are some ideas that God has privileged your pastor to have or know that you can receive from his or her teachings or counsel rather than spend endless time praying without an answer.
3. Prayer is not effective when there is no intentionality. When I say intentionality, I mean “praying from your heart” on a particular issue that you truly desire to see the result of. Praying from the heart is different from praying the points outlined by the leader or praying as a program. If you don’t pray from your heart it will be difficult to pray in the spirit.
When you are intentional in your prayer, you can recall to what extent you have prayed on a major issue. Apostle Paul shared his experience, how that he prayed three times on an issue in his life until God spoke to him about it.
Effective prayer opens your eyes to see the answer even when it hasn’t manifested physically. Your thanks to God begins from your conviction that your prayer is answered not when you see the result.
Blessings to you.

𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘
Luke 1:26-38:
"…And the virgin's name was Mary…And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women….Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God…
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS…
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee…For with God nothing shall be impossible."
𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘:
1̲.̲ M̲a̲r̲y̲'̲s̲ q̲u̲e̲s̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ o̲f̲ '̲H̲O̲W̲'̲ t̲o̲ t̲h̲e̲ A̲n̲g̲e̲l̲ w̲a̲s̲ a̲n̲ h̲o̲n̲e̲s̲t̲ q̲u̲e̲s̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ b̲e̲c̲a̲u̲s̲e̲ h̲u̲m̲a̲n̲l̲y̲ s̲p̲e̲a̲k̲i̲n̲g̲,̲ i̲t̲ w̲a̲s̲ a̲n̲ i̲m̲p̲o̲s̲s̲i̲b̲l̲e̲ v̲e̲n̲t̲u̲r̲e̲.̲
This indicates that when the Holy Ghost takes over any situation, human impediments or impossibilities are completely irrelevant.
What becomes important to God is His will being done in your life or in that particular circumstance.
All the evidences of impossibilities have been taken care of by the force that accompanies the Word. So they shouldn’t be your concern.
Courageously hold, consciously and tenaciously to what God had said. That’s your assurance.
2̲.̲ Y̲o̲u̲ c̲a̲n̲ o̲n̲l̲y̲ c̲o̲n̲c̲e̲i̲v̲e̲ w̲h̲a̲t̲ y̲o̲u̲ b̲e̲l̲i̲e̲v̲e̲.̲
It takes a healthy womb to conceive naturally so also it takes a believing heart to appropriate spiritual promises. Anything you refuse to accept by faith you can’t receive it physically rather you repel it through doubt and unbelief.
God loves you but He cannot believe for you or force you to believe His word from His servant. Dare to believe whatever God speaks to you, no matter the source or whether it makes any sense or not.
Mary became pregnant with the child immediately she said "...be it unto me according to thy words...". With all the impossibilities surrounding the declaration, she believed the Word spoken to her, and that settled it.
In this season of uncertainties in the world, your faith must be anchored on God’s infallible promises. That is your secret place.
You will enjoy a colorful 2023.

OUR HOPE IS SUBSTANTIAL. IT IS NOT IN VAIN.
Psalm 119:49 “Remember thy word unto thy servant upon which thou hast caused me to hope.”
Our hope is substantial. It is not in vain.
We are not doing guesswork about our future, because God’s word has made us know that our future is colorful and bright.
Hope deals with your future, whether immediate or distant.
By the way, what is hope?
Hope is an “expectation of good” in your future, which is predicated on a word God gave you or a word of God you are holding onto for your life.
Hope does not mind the pressures of the present.
The reason pressure comes is to make you lose grip of your hope. Pressures are normal and temporal, they will soon pass away when your hope materializes.
We are born again into a life of Hope. We can never be victims of circumstance.
It may be someone else’s opportunity today, we rejoice with them, by our hope, ours is certain to come, because “hope maketh not ashamed.”

Never give up. You are still alive because God hasn't finished with you.
You are not alive by chance. God intentionally preserves your life because He has a lot in store for you and until He is done with you, He won't allow you die.
No matter what life seems to throw at you, never give up, keep believing in God and He will turn all your challenges to testimonies, in Jesus' name, Amen!
