ABOUT SSV:
The secondary school visitation activity group (SSV) is an arm of the Christian Union (CU) UNIBEN/UBTH. It entails reaching out with the gospel to youths of secondary school age in their respective schools with the aim of leading them to Christ through personal efforts, weekly evangelism, outreach programmes, the internet etc. SSV is a relevant force of change powered by God to invest the Gospel in the youths of secondary schools so that the future of Nigeria and the world in diaspora will be safe. We also ensure that only sound biblical doctrines are spread among the students. Other areas of concern to the students such as finance, emotions, social life and academics are not neglected. The Christian Union (CU) is a non-denominational, inter-denominational fellowship. We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and our doctrine is the Bible. Our mission on the University Campus is to raise up disciples of Christ Jesus in this generation.

Growing Through the Word 📖✨

A beautiful moment of learning, reflection, and spiritual growth as we shared God's Word together during our outreach.

It was a reminder that true impact begins with a heart transformed by God.

A Moment of Prayer ✨

We began our outreach with a heartfelt prayer session, committing the day, our hearts, and everyone we would serve into God's hands.

It was a beautiful time of unity, faith, and connection with God.

We often measure impact by numbers.
But sometimes, impact looks like one student asking a question.
One student choosing hope.
One student realizing they are loved.
Never underestimate what God can do through a single encounter.

We never stopped.
The Secondary School Visitation Activity Group has been active showing up in secondary schools, sharing the Gospel and building lives.
We just went quiet on here. That changes today.

Our Annual conference program focused on mentoring and inspiring teenagers and secondary school students personal growth, and purposeful living through the Word of God.
The theme, “Out of the Deep,” was a call to rise above fear, confusion, limitation, and every depth that tries to bury purpose and destiny.
It was more than just a program it was a moment of awakening, impartation, growth, and transformation. We believe seeds were planted, lives were touched, and hearts were stirred toward God and a better future.

To every student present:
You were not created to remain in the deep. There is greatness, purpose, and light within you.

Good morning, dearly beloved🤗

As we set out today let us remember that even though challenges may come our way, God is always with us as Psalms 23:4 makes us understand.
God never disappoints those who put their trust in Him.
Even as he chastises you through his word as Proverbs 3:11 points out and corrects through the use of challenges to make you stronger in your faith and spirituality, always remember Proverbs 3:12 -" For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth."

This is the word for the week and remember, SSV cares💕

Find out the blessing the lord has for you.

Know that the Lord has you in mind, his thoughts of you are good to give you an expected end.
