Last week was nothing short of AMAZING! 🌟💜

The kids truly had the best time this summer, and we wrapped up with a week filled with Public Speaking, Reading Skills, Drama & Expressive Arts 🎭📚✨

And of course, we had our Street Cycling experience 🚲 — another adventure they absolutely loved!

From learning and exploring to creating, performing, making new friends and simply having fun… we loved every single bit of this camp! 🥹💜

A huge THANK YOU to every parent, child, facilitator and friend who made Peony Summer Camp 2026 such a beautiful experience. 🫶🏽

We’re wrapping up an incredible summer with a fun-filled Peony Carnival Day and we want to make it an unforgettable experience . ❤️

Think face painting, mini games, balloon challenges, ring toss, bouncy castle, popcorn, cotton candy, dance-offs, a photo booth, prizes and so much more! 🎈🎡🍿

But we know that creating magical childhood memories takes a village. 🤝

A Journey Through Yoruba Culture 🇳🇬✨

Our visit to the J.Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History was truly unforgettable! 🤩

The children explored the past, present and future of Yoruba culture and our minds were blown by everything we saw and discovered. From the stories and traditions to the fascinating exhibits, their curiosity came alive! 👏🏽

And the highlight? Going up the mountain hill! ⛰️😍 Watching the children take on the climb, explore and experience the space with so much excitement was definitely a moment to remember.

It was beautiful seeing them ask questions, explore, connect with their culture and learn beyond the classroom. ❤️

Summer Camp has been such a beautiful journey, and we honestly don’t want it to end! 🥹 This last week is proving to be another amazing experience, with so much more to discover.

Hola! 🇪🇸🏆

With Spain celebrating a World Cup victory, we’re taking a trip down memory lane to our unforgettable Spanish Day at Peony! ❤️💛

Our little learners confidently counted numbers, named professions, identified parts of the body,fruits and even performed short role-plays—all in Spanish! 👏✨

The best part? Our parents watched the entire experience remotely and were amazed at what they saw. Seeing their children confidently communicate in another languages was a proud moment that reminded us just how capable young learners are.

At Peony, we believe that learning new languages is an important part of a child’s educational journey. It broadens their minds, builds confidence, nurtures cultural appreciation and opens them up to a world of possibilities all while learning through play.

Moments like these remind us that children learn far more than we often imagine when given the right environment.

🍕🍪💙 Flour on their hands, smiles on their faces and memories in the making.

Our Daddy & Me baking session was such a beautiful experience. As fathers and children baked pizzas and cookies together, we watched meaningful connections grow not just between dads and their children, but among families within our community.

One of the highlights of the day was our heart-to-heart conversation with the fathers. Their openness and vulnerability reminded us how important it is to create spaces where dads can connect, share experiences and support one another.

We spoke about the value of spending intentional time with our children and the important role fathers play in every aspect of their growth and development. Children thrive when fathers are present.

To our exceptional Peony dads, we see you, we appreciate you and we celebrate you. And if this experience taught us anything, it’s that we need more fathers in the room. 💙

Reception 2 parents had an amazing time watching the children present on how money makes the world go round and our Reception 2 stars are already discovering how it works! 💰✨

Our learners explored the concept of money, understanding that it serves as a means of exchange, learning about different currencies and discovering the regulatory body responsible for overseeing money.

To bring learning to life, the children presented a fun and engaging drama on buying and selling, confidently stepping into the roles of customers and sellers. 🛍️🧾 Through play, role-play and hands-on experiences, they were able to connect classroom learning with real-life situations.

At Peony, we believe learning is most meaningful when children can see it, experience it and even bring it to life. Watching our little learners build real-world understanding with confidence and excitement was simply amazing! 🌸

Tiny paper, tiny fingers, big development! ✨

Our children engaged in a fun “Pick & Pinch” activity where they picked tiny pieces of paper and Pom poms from the floor using their fingertips strengthening both fine motor control and gross motor coordination in the most joyful way.

At Peony Childcare Center, we believe every playful moment is a learning opportunity. From grip strength to focus, from coordination to confidence our little ones are building essential foundations for writing, independence and everyday skills.
