Today heaven smiled on St. Peter’s Achina.

Highlights from Mass:
1. Theme: “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life” – John 6:54. The Manager Rev. Fr. Felix Ezeaka, reminded us that the Eucharist is Jesus giving Himself completely to us. Not just bread, but Life.

Special Grace: Some of our students received their First Holy Communion today.
White dresses, shining faces, hands joined in prayer. After months of catechism classes, they took Jesus into their hearts for the very first time. The whole school prayed with them and for them.

To our First Communicants:
Welcome to the Lord’s Table. You are now fully part of Christ’s Body. Stay close to Him, especially during exams and always. We’re proud of you!

To all students: Let this Solemnity remind us — Jesus in the Eucharist is our strength for school, for home, and for life.

Topic: Caning is still necessary for discipline in Nigeria Secondary Schools

What a weekend! Our SS students showed up, spoke up, and showed out.

For the Motion: Argued that caning instills fear, builds discipline, corrects quickly, and prepares students for life’s strict rules. “No pain, no gain” was the energy.

Against the Motion: Argued that dialogue, counseling, and rewards work better. Caning causes fear, injury, and kills creativity. “Discipline without damage” was their message.

From bold points to quick rebuttals, our students proved that St. Peter’s doesn’t just teach subjects — we train thinkers, speakers, and future leaders.

The judges had a tough job, but everyone was a winner because confidence grew that day.

On Children's day night, the students of St. Peter’s Secondary School, Achina, gathered inside the hall for the Children’s Day film showing.

The projector lit up the wall, and the compound went quiet as the movie began. Laughter and quiet comments filled the hall as the scenes played out.

It was a simple night, but it gave them something to remember and talk about long after Children’s Day was over.
