One of our 3-6 year olds relocated to the East this term with he family. Her new school was so impressed with her that they’re in contact with us discussing a Montessori training consultancy for their teachers.

Now it’s our Casa (3-6) year olds that are showcasing the Montessori magic to the world.

Well done to the Addlo team.

The Magic of the Work Cycle in Montessori Primary Classrooms

In a Montessori Elementary classroom, learning isn’t rushed—it flows naturally through the Work Cycle.

The Work Cycle is a block of mostly uninterrupted time where children can:
✅ Choose meaningful work that sparks their curiosity
✅ Dive deeply into a task without distractions
✅ Develop concentration, self-discipline, and responsibility
✅ Experience satisfaction and pride in completing a project.

This work time allows children to move from exploration to mastery, building confidence, independence, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. 💡

At Addlo Montessori, we honour the Work Cycle because we know that true learning happens when children have time, space, and freedom to engage fully.

Practice always makes progress.

Tip: Observe a child during their Work Cycle, and you’ll see the quiet magic of growth in action!

Welcome to 2026! Happy resumption Upper Primary st ADDLO. We revisited polygons their names, and the foundational shapes for objects, design and construction found around us.

A story about kindness led us to a short research ans presentation stint.

All in all I would say we had a great first day back to school.

What a beautiful throwback we had today at Addlo!

Our children travelled back in time to experience how life used to be — from the clothes people wore, to the games, music, and household items of the past.

The goal was simple but powerful: to help our young learners understand history, culture, and how much life has changed over the years — all through fun, laughter, and hands-on experiences!

From vintage outfits to old-school tunes, and even classic household items — it was a day filled with wonder and learning.

Definitely an enriching and inspiring event for our children.

At Addlo Montessori School, we believe that every experience is a chance to connect children to the world around them — past, present, and future

The Addlo child at work. The mathematical mind of the child at work in a Montessori setting never fails to come forth.

Here our Primary 4 student is working with figures in millions as he passes though hurdles of adding and subtracting huge figures.

Lots of practice helps consolidate number facts and the internal workings of how operations happen.

It’s important not to overlook the strong foundation Montessori Primary provides for Secondary school child.
