🚀 WHY DO ASTRONAUTS APPEAR TO FLOAT IN SPACE?

Look at an astronaut inside a spacecraft. 👨‍🚀

You may see them moving around and say:

“There is no gravity in space!”

But that is not completely correct. 😄

Gravity is still pulling on the astronaut.

So why do they appear to be floating?

The spacecraft and the astronaut are both falling freely toward Earth while moving forward very fast.

Because they are falling together, the astronaut doesn’t feel the normal support force from the floor.

That is why they appear weightless.

So, when you see an astronaut floating, remember:

🌍 Gravity is still acting.

🚀 The spacecraft is in orbit.

👨‍🚀 The astronaut and spacecraft are in continuous free fall.

That is why they appear to float!

Physics is everywhere — even in space. 🌍🚀📚
